"On the other side of the famous idol rapper stands my weak self. It's a bit dangerous. Depression, OCD. They keep coming back again from time to time."

Jungkook sat on the couch, forehead resting on his palms, elbows propped upon his knees. Hours had passed and Yoongi still wasn't back. Jungkook had called and texted, only to realize that it wouldn't make a difference. The others, Hoseok and Jimin especially, were supremely worried.

The past month had been rough, BTS' schedule filled to the max with concerts, fan-signings, and other varied time-consuming events. It was tiring but they always worked hard. Their love for ARMYs (and for what they did) spurred them on to continue being diligent in their duties as idols. Jungkook supposed BTS' busy schedule hadn't exactly helped Yoongi's anxiety.

Everyone was aware of the difficulties. They were there for one another, making sure everyone was hydrated and doing okay (at the least). Hoseok and Namjoon were always good about providing encouragement and endless support. But they all saw how much Yoongi was struggling. Though messing around with him could sometimes improve his mood, the group had had to tread carefully around him recently. When the time came, fans cheering, a forced expression of joy overtook his features.

Over time, it became clearer that he was suffering. Though no one, including Jungkook, really knew why. Yeah, they were busy and barely had time for themselves but was that really the only reason he was troubled?

Yoongi was stubborn and still put on a good face for ARMYs, refusing to admit he was struggling. He waved off the members' concerns, more closed off than ever. At first glance, Yoongi was always perceived as a cold, unapproachable person. In fact, the opposite was true. But now, it seemed Yoongi had adopted these grouchy, standoffish characteristics. He wasn't rude per say, mostly quiet. But he'd put his walls back up, refusing to let anyone through, even Jungkook. His boyfriend witnessed these changes firsthand as Yoongi became more and more distant.  He couldn't deny that it hurt.

Suga tossed and turned at night too, eventually giving up on even trying to sleep. Jungkook would awaken in the middle of the night to see Yoongi quietly leave the room, probably retiring to his studio to work on lyrics or practice piano. Being the youngest, and the one who loved sleep the most (second to Yoongi, actually, who wasn't sleeping anymore), Jungkook was always the last to wake up now, often being told that Hoseok had found Yoongi curled up in his swivel chair, head lolling against the head-rest, snoring softly.

Privately, Hoseok told Jungkook how much he hated waking Yoongi up. The main dancer claimed it looked as if the '93 liner hadn't tried to fall asleep, but rather had passed out in the middle of whatever he had been doing; papers cluttered in his lap, a pencil tucked loosely behind his ear, keyboard still turned on, and a tipped over trash can spilling out crumpled papers onto the floor. One time Jin had been sent to find Yoongi, utterly surprised to see him sprawled out on the bathroom floor. Yoongi's cheek was pressed against the cold tile, light blonde hair disheveled, and knees tucked to his chest. Rather than waking him up, Seokjin had gone to Jungkook for help and together, they carried him to bed. Almost motherly, Jin tucked Yoongi in, pulling the blankets up to the younger's shoulders, while Jungkook asked (begged would be more accurate) the choreographer for a break, promising they'd work extra hard at the next practice.. Thankfully their choreographer was kind and let them off the hook without complaint. That day, all day, Yoongi slept. Jungkook remained by his side, kissing his forehead, ruffling his hair, holding his hand...

Finally seeing Yoongi sleeping was a lifted weight from Jungkook's shoulders. Suga was so much more relaxed as he slept, lips not pursed in an endless frown, jaw unclenched, his features lax. But as soon as his boyfriend awoke, a soft thank you and a peck on the lips was all he received before Yoongi left for his studio once again.
