To live a life where opening your mouth does nothing but cause trouble is lonely.

Your words do nothing but anger the ones closest to you.
So you begin to learn how to make everyone else happy even if it costs you your own happiness.

You learn how to keep your mouth shut while the people around you throw their thoughts and opinions at you like knives and arrows knowing you have no Shield or form of protection.

You learn to smile through the pain of your open wounds and watch as they pour salt into them reminding you that you are a silent nothing.

You learn to keep your mouth shut even when your thoughts are the words that need to be said.

You learn to hold your fear in your arms and feed it instead of tossing it over the bridge.

You learn how to live a life so miserable and lonely because the happiness that comes from others that surrounds you is worth never discovering the voice to finding yourself.

Do you live a life where opening your mouth does nothing but cause trouble or do you live in fear of what others may think about your thoughts?
