In His Heart (abandoned)

Chapter 1

Wooden ships lanquished in the thames, lolling to and fro, like oxen taking a mud bath. The murky waters lapped at the blackened oak as papa's words washed over her once more.
Ciara leaned over the crumbled stone wall and buried her face in her arms. How long she wept she could only guess.

Someone moved beside her, yet she bared not to look. She wasnt ready to fave anyone so she turned her tearstained face away.
After an eternity she pressed a handkerchief to her red nose and cast a side ways glance "papa" she striaghtened and turned from him.  What use would a discussion be?
Her sister approached and hope rose in her heart. An ally, perhaps? No, Luna stepped aside apologies evident in her eyes...
Papa's voice was strained, with a sadness she hadnt heard since momma died.
" you shall come to know i am right me girl. You might not agree with me today, but you shall see."
" you are wrong about that just as you are wrong about forcing me to marry Riddle." She whirled to face him and raised her chin. " how could you? Please dont do this to me papa, the last thing i want is to leave home and marry someone here in london. I could not bear to leave you and Luna, you know that.

Before he could answer wind and tide came together sails snapped. With creak and groans the ship moved in awkward unision towards the north sea. The same gust of wind thay billowed the sea threatened to take her hat with it.
She grabbed the brim with both hands, firmly settled it on her brow and watched as the shops bumpped about leaving port. Fresh tears pressed the corners of her swollen eyes to the inky water below." You may as well be sending me off to the colonies" her stomach clinched causing the words to rush out in a gasp. As she clutched her waist she glanced at her father, who looked visably hurt.  His cheeks reddened " hush, do not say thay. You know i love you dearly and always have your best intrest at heart"
