Soft breeze passed by him as it gently kissed his skin, his grip was tight on the cold metal handle and pushed it with his body, walking into the convenience store. The slow voice of the cashier behind the counter could be heard as soon as he stepped in, welcoming him into the store. He glanced over his shoulder before a small smirk working its way on his lips.

Eyes wandered around the store, different packaging with variety of colours were everywhere, displaying what was supposed to be the description of the snack. Everything caught his eyes, however, he wasn't sure why he was there. He had to go out of his house once a day, just once, and for that day it was that particular time; even if his mind was blank.

For what seemed like the thirtieth time of him walking around the aisle, making his dry throat felt drier as if it was screaming in thirst. He turned to his back, facing the commercial fridges with, once again, variety of colours in different packaging. Some came in aluminium, some came in a paper box, and some came in a bottle.

His hand landed on whichever fridge handle his mind desired, pulling it open and an instant cold breeze brushing against his skin. His gaze was moving from the top, to the bottom, and eventually paused in the middle.

"Coke," he whispered under his breath.

He reached for the bottle of coke—flustered at the sudden slender fingers landed on the same drink as well. His eyes widened as he turned to his left, what he had to meet was a familiar face that he had seen somewhere before, thought it was too long ago that he cannot function where he once saw this person before. However, he cannot take his eyes off of that significant other—it was not too long when the familiar person pulled his hand away with his eyes nervously looking around.

His face was one of upmost confidence, whatever game this man played he wasn't accustomed to loosing. He bowed down, apologizing in a slow tone as he turned around but he was a second too late when his voice stopped him from taking another step.

"Hey," he started.

Taehyung who was about to walk away was stopped by his voice, slicing through himself. His heart was thumping as he was nervous, it wasn't the right time for someone to start a conversation with him, moreover, it was the same exact person he had embarrassed himself to, twice.

I mean, which idiot could be choosing the same drink?

Clearing his throat, he turned around like a slow motion forcing himself to face the guy standing behind him. Taehyung, however, tried his best to keep a straight face on, no one would have any ideas how he was feeling. His mind was like a rollercoaster and his heart was racing, it was too much for him. Everything happened at the same time and it was continuing, what a bad day.

"Have we ever met before?" he asked, as soon as they were facing each other. His eyebrows were pulled to each other, confusion was clear on his face.

"W-we?" Taehyung stuttered, pointing his finger to himself as a slow smirk was slowly painting itself across his anxious face.

"Yes, we. I feel like we have met each other before, but I'm not sure when or where," he giggled.

The sound of his giggle was so light, and soothing to hear. It was almost like a boy who was in his adolescent, growing up with luxurious surrounding him. He was like that person, even if he didn't seem one, at least not how the way he was dressed.

"Maybe? I-I don't know, I'm not sure either," he chuckled nervously. If he had to be honest, he would say that they had never seen each other before, not even breathing in the same region, even though he remembered his face, and him, too well. The way his dimples made its appearance every time he smiled, the raspy voice of his which will not sound like his when he laughed.

"Ah! I know where we once met before!" he giggled, clapping his hand against each other once, locking his gaze to Taehyung's eyes still.

Oh no, he's going to let this conversation drag itself to the point where I will find myself fainting.

"Y-you do?" he painted a fake smile.
"Yes! You're the guy in the cafe the other day! Aren't you?" he asked. His smile was so bright that his dimples became visible, the expression he had seemed like he couldn't wait any longer for his answer, while he, on the other hand, just wanted to disappear.

"Oh, so you're the guy who helped me the other day. No wonder your face seemed so familiar in one glance," another nervous chuckle he let out, lying, to both himself and him.

"How are you doing?"

Another question thrown, Taehyung felt helpless as if he was at the edge of a thin wire, hanging loosely.

"I'm doing good. H-how about you?" he replied, the movement he made caught Taehyung's eyes as he grabbed two bottles of coke from the fridge and made his way to the counter in an instant, leaving him with his question.

Again, he felt helpless. It didn't help to calm his mind down, the anxiety was raising up making him drown in his own fear. Keeping his steps to him, Taehyung made his way to the counter as well. Eyes glued to the bottles of coke on top of the metal counter before the cashier brought it to the scanner, and told him the total. He paid for the coke, and it made Taehyung came back to himself when he realised he didn't grab one for himself.

"Where are you going?" his hand clasped around his arm, making him startle.

"Grabbing a coke," Taehyung answered leisurely.

"What for? I have bought one for you," he said, before giving him the bottle of coke in his left hand to him. Taehyung's eyes glued to the brand, he already had too much to think, yet, he added another load of problems Taehyung had to face, unintentionally.

"To your question, I'm. . .okay," he said, though, there was a short silence between the answer. The two strangers, yet, felt as if they have known each other for years, walked out of the convenience store together and walked next to each other to, nowhere.

The situation fell to a dead silence, Taehyung didn't know what to say, he had never been good in communicating, though it was no doubt he was once a social butterfly before. Once.

"What's your name?"

He glanced up from the pavement and looked at his eyes, waiting for an answer.

"Taehyung. Kim Taehyung," he forced a smile.

"I'm Namjoon, with the same surname. Nice to meet you, Taehyung," he reached his hand out for a handshake.

Eyes twitched to nervousness, he, somehow, clasped his hand with Namjoon's, giving him a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too,"
