Back to the Basics?

I'm finally back, sorry about the long wait. I was suppose to update almost three months ago. I was busy with school and stuff. But, now that school is over and I'm free. So from now on expect faster updates, better chapters and new drama. Thanks for staying with this book for so long, I really appreciate it. Before we start I want to clear some stuff up . . .

- The girl named Nicole in this book is really Angela from the first book. So, I'm going to go change her name back to Angela so things can stay on track.

- I know Roc's real name so please stop telling me what his real name is. Trey Avery Young is his name in this book. If I acidentally put Chresanto then it will be fixed.

- I didn't mean for that last POV in the last chapter to be scary or creepy.

-Damien's dad, Marco, is DEAD . . .

- Raquan, Carmen and Laila go to USC in Los Angeles, for college.

- Izzy and Jacob go to Northwestern in Illinois, for college.

-Trey goes to NYU in New York, for college.

Raquan has been M.I.A for a long while but it's for a good reason. He has been working his ass off in Sacramento with his dad. Ray has collected/made enough money to be able to buy his own apartment when he returns home from Sacramento in a month. He is thinking about asking Carmen to move in the apartment with him once he gets it. Luckily, he has stayed in contact with everybody and is looking forward to seeing them soon.

Carmen has been under the radar lately. She does her own lil' thing and it's working out for her because she is doing very well in school. She has been working at this boutique in Los Angeles near the school's campus. She is thinking about starting her own online boutique to start bring extra money. Her and Raquan have been working on building a stronger relationship. She is impatiently waiting for him to arrive back home.

Since Izzy is pregnant and Jacob got a new position at his job things have been a little rocky for them. Izzy's mood swings seem to kick in twenty-four/ seven and Jacob ends up arguing with her. Then ten minutes later they are back to hugging and kissing . . . bipolar much? The two are still continuing their courses at school while all of this chaos is occurring. With Izzy being two months pregnant she is still working, therefore, she will be working up until her final weeks of pregnancy. Jacob finally told Izzy about his weird encounters with his brother's stuff and the shoes he got after graduation. He is still trying to put the pieces together.

Trey started his football season and is starting to enjoy living in New York. He finally settled in and adjusted to the fast life quicker than he expected. He also got a job at Champs in the mall not too far from his apartment. Angela is still around but she has backed off a little after what went on between Trey and Laila. She is still joining Trey and the rest of the crew for Thanksgiving. Trey is kind of worried about it because they messed around once after what happened with Trey and Laila. Trey is planning on telling Laila when he gets back home for Thanksgiving.

As for Laila, she has been as busy as can be. She has a new job at DASH, yes the Kardashian's store. Laila is starting to get traits of her older brother, Elijah, she hustles for her money. Not selling dope . . . but she is grinding and doing what she has to do. Her studies are getting better, she was never the best student in school but she worked hard enough to pass with honors. Laila is excited for Thanksgiving, she wants to see the whole group back together again. The person who she misses the most is her brother; when you've been attached to someone for so long and then you separate it will make you very upset. She misses Trey, of course! She just isn't excited that he is bringing baggage along with him, Angela.
