Charlottes Mums POV
I was in charge. I was going to find out Luke's killer. he meant a lot to me. it.. it doesn't matter.
I used to be an investigator, few years back.
"Hello investigation unit. How can I help you?" asked the person on the phone.
"Erm I'm Mrs-"
"I KNOW THAT VOICE!!!"
"Oh hey Lucy!"
"Hey! I was wondering if you could do me a massive favour?" I asked politely
"What's that?"
George's POV
There was something going on between Chars mum and Luke.
I just can't think what...
"Sir... Sir??? SIR!"
"Oh yeah sorry."
"£1.39 please." The shop keeper smiled. I passed the money and ran off with the map, leaving the change.
"George," someone called me from behind, "George OMG it's you!"
"Oh, Jessica." this was awkward, "thought you weren't getting back till, next week?"
"Why? I wanted to come back and see my mates, and I really need to sort things out with Luke, seriously ha." she smiled, not knowing a thing.
"Jessica.." my gulp hasn't ever been louder.
"What? What's wrong?"
"Luke, Luke passed away, earlier today."
"What? No he didn't, I was speaking to him earlier!" her smiled faded as she figured out I was telling the truth, "h...how?"
"Stabbed, 4 times apparently."
"Murder?"
"Yes, murder." her eyes filled up with tears and then suddenly exploded. I catched her as she fell.
Then I helped her back to mine and Charlottes, and onto chars bed.
"George, can we have a word?" asked a police man, standing with a police women. I nodded and walked into my bedroom with them.
We all sat down and they started speaking..
"We have had numbers of rumours that you and Jessica have been seeing each other, am I correct?"
"No! Who's being saying this, they are lying!"
"Okay calm down, we will ask Jessica. We are sorry to ask this but where were you on the day that Luke was murdered?"
"With Charlotte, we were driving back from the hospital!"
"Why were you at the hospital?"
"A car crash! Look, I didn't do anything to Luke, we were best mates, more then that. I want to know who killed him and broke into our house as much as you do."
"Okay. we will call you back later, but in the mean time can you fetch Jessica for us?" I nodded and ran out.
