Kris' POV

I told her that I'll give her space at my apartment and she could live there as long as she wanted but she was stubborn and kept persisting over getting a job and leaving the apartment soon. We finally arrived at the decision that she would cook me meals and clean my house for a living as long as she doesn't find a job. That's the least I could do to keep her with me!

I inhaled the still and suffocating air as soon as I stepped into my office. I was greeted with bows and handshakes because I rarely made rounds of the office now. I wanted to check into all the employees. Why can't she come to office with me as well? She did excellent in her high school.

I entered into my private elevator which took me flying to floor 25 where my room was located. I sat on my office chair and sifted through the files on my desk. Taylor greeted me as soon as he entered my room. He told me about today's meetings and briefed me about the upcoming events. We were gonna make a new launch of our fresh winter designs, and a modelling ceremony would be arranged. Taylor told me that I had a meeting with the Kim family in the next hour and they were our new sponsors in the advertising industry.

I was soon walking into the conference room, with Taylor catching up from behind me. Everybody seemed to be already there as I reached. I muttered a humble good morning to all the gentlemen and I got nods and fake, professional smiles in return. This unnatural feeling at this office pisses me off!

Just as I sunk into my seat, an unusual person caught my eye. He was looking at me with a serious face and anger blazed in his eyes. What is Jun Myeon doing here? Kim! So he's the chaebol heir! He intended to piss me off and he succeeded. So he looked away with that triumphant smirk on his face and Taylor's briefing ended soon.

I was still busy staring at Jun Myeon when Taylor cleared his throat from the other side of the room to draw my attention towards him. I quickly assumed my professional scroll and stood up to face the quorum. "Mr. Kim! I'm quiet happy to see you here today but I've some queries regarding your sincerity towards my company!" I spoke in my usual pissed off, authoritative, professional voice. Mr. Kim was the owner of the Kim's advertising industry, he shifted a little in his place but I started speaking again before he could question me.

I left my seat, crossed my fingers in the air as I walked around the quorum table, "You know Mr. Kim, The Wu Corporation is the biggest company in all of Asia and our fashion have been taken up into some of award shows even in the States," I paused to lay stress on my words and started again, "and as I'm incharge of the South Korean Department, I'm very conscious about feasible deals and sincere shareholders. Our company can always face a threat from among its own shareholders," I smirked at Mr. Kim, "so I'd want you to sign me a contract!" I ended, briefly glancing at Jun Myeon and back at Mr. Kim.

"But the Wu's never made contract with other shareholders before," he seemed to protest at my unusualness.

"Yes, we never did but this time I can sense envy brewing up somewhere," I stared into Jun Myeon's eyes as I replied to his father.

"Young Master Kris! Your father would not be pleased to hear about this kind of treatment of yours towards me, I was his classmate in high school," Mr. Kim told me in his old, shaking voice.

"Classmates," I sighed, "are the biggest threats!"

However, he ended up giving in and sighed my contract that if I ever get cheated by his firm or get a revolt breaking up from under his authority, he would have to transfer half of his shares to our company as a punishment. And he was too greedy to get a share in our company that he signed it sooner, without negotiating much on the pros and cons.

It was kind of sweet taking revenge from Jun Myeon indirectly. He lied so much, he took advantage of somebody's ignorance. I was walking out of the lobby when I spotted him standing next to the glass window, facing the city, sipping silently from his glass of wine. I sat near him on the couch, crossed my legs and addressed him, "How does it feel to get caught up in your lie by someone you never expected would catch you up?"

He jerked back, turning towards me and smirked. He took small steps towards me, still sipping from his glass and he stopped a few steps away from me. "Don't try tou terfere in my life!" He threatened me.

"Threatening me already when your firm just signed my contract?" I asked back as I stood up to level him and smirked.

I saw his eyes blaze with fury as he answered mockingly, "That's a kid's tactic to take revenge, Wu!"

I patted him on his shoulder, "Kid's tactic or not, it can put you and your family in danger," I turned and walked away. He didn't say anything so I waved him as I exited the lobby, "Farewell classmate!"
