Dana Scully rose out of her bed as freshly risen sunlight filled the room, casting down upon her body as she began to sit up, the sheets slowly falling off of her. She looked down and smiled at the sleeping form next to her, her partner Fox Mulder. He was softly snoring under the sheets, a peaceful expression on his face. As she stood up she thought about the night before.
"Scully... You're so incredibly beautiful." He said, stroking my face, his fingers softly running over my cheek. He started to kiss my neck, his hot breath tickling my skin, giving me chills. I gasped, tightening my grasp on his waist, "Mulder..."
Scully blushed thinking about the events from the night before, but smiled happily, thankful for what happened. She loved Mulder with all of heart and she felt so blessed to have shared such a loving moment with him. She was glad the feeling was very mutual. They had always had a very strong bond, but she was always nervous to put down her icy guard and just go with her heart.
"Dana... You went crazy last night.." She thought about how far they went, she did admit they got a little crazy, the result of overflowing passion and a bit too many glasses of wine, scratch that, literally an entire bottle of wine. She didn't regret the actions though, even though something made her a little uneasy.
"You can't have children. Don't do this to yourself, it's okay." She debated within her mind. She knew she was a barren woman, unable to conceive, but the worry always lingered in the back of her mind. She always wanted a baby, it was what she lay awake at night, thinking about, but she just did not feel she was a fit enough parent. She was a woman of duty, her job was to help rid the world of evil, but she also longed to have a normal, calm life, settled down without worry.
She got dressed then lay back down on the bed, snuggling close to Mulder's sleeping form, hugging him tightly. Not long after, she felt him rustle awake. He slowly stretched and turned around to face her, smiling with glee. She returned the favor, kissing him on the nose.
"Good morning lovely.." He whispered and kissed her lips, their foreheads touching. They lay together for a bit until Mulder started to sit up.
"I've decided I'm going to make you breakfast this morning." He smiled at her, getting up and getting dressed. Scully did one of her famous skeptical smirks.
"Oh? And why is that, may I ask?" She grinned up at him, getting up as well.
"Because you are the single greatest human on this earth, that's why!" He declared in a silly tone.
Scully chuckled, "Oh Mulder.. You're crazy!" She laughed, following him into the kitchen of his apartment. "This is going to be amusing." She smiled.
