While I cooked King got the gifts he dropped at the door and sat them on the couch(media). Nana finally came home from work. I finished up the sides then made him, my Nana, and myself a plate,we sat at the table eating in silence.

"Mama Jess,I want to apologize for hurtin Marly, I promised you I wouldn't and I broke that promise. So I'm sorry."King says breaking the silence.

"I don't want to hear your apology young man, you broke my trust and I wish you leave my grandbaby alone."she says sitting her fork down looking him in the eye.

"With all due respect, I ain't leaving Marly alone. I care for her, yea I slipped up and made a big a-....a big mistake and I regret it,but losing Marly ain't on the itinerary."he says folding his arms across his bird chest.

"Marly you better leave him alone and get him out my house."she says getting up and going to her room.

"I'm sorry King."i say looking down at my fingers.

"What you mean you sorry Marly,you gon let yo grandma tell you who you can and can't be wit?"he asks looking pissed.

"King she gon put me out, I'm only 17,where I'm gon go."i say getting up putting the dishes in the sink to wash them.

"Marly you act like you can't stay with me. I got the room."he says.

"King are you serious? Live wit you for a year til I can get my own spot? I hate depending on people you know that, ion want you to hold it over my head in the long run."i sat finishing up the dishes.

"Marly what typa nigga you take me for huh?"he asks, while my back still facing him.

"I DON'T KNOW KINGSTON,I THOUGHT YOU WOULDN'T CHEAT ON ME, I WAS WRONG ABOUT THAT SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ABOUT YOU!!!"i shout turning around, slamming my hands down on the marble-top island in the middle of the kitchen. I was so pissed, i jus walked towards the stairs to go to my room.

"THAT SHIT WAS A MISTAKE, HER BROTHER GOT KILLED MAN I WENT TO COMFORT HER AND SHE STARTED TALKIN BOUT SHE MISS ME AND SHIT!! I TOLD HER ASS NAW BUT SHE WENT DOWN ON A NIGGA ANYWAY!!!FUCK YOU EXPECT ME TO DO MARLY!!!!"He shouts following me upstairs.

"HOLD ME DOWN AND STAND YO GROUND NIGGA! I HELD YOU DOWN AND BEEN HOLDING YOU DOWN SINCE DAY ONE!!IF YOU WOULDA CALLED THAT BITCH THE DAY YOU GOT LOCKED UP BET MONEY SHE WOULDN'T HAVE GOT YOUR ASS OUT, I FED YOU AND EVERYTHING THAT NIGHT!!
