If you asked anyone at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry about Calypso Krane and Sirius Black, they would immediately remark that the pair were as thick as thieves. Despite their seemingly different personalities (Calypso was known for being a rather powerful witch who could excell in all matters of schooling if she ever remembered to turn her work in on time while Sirius was the mischievous prankster who relished in the attention his adorning Fan Club provided), Calypso and Sirius had always had a deep understanding of each other that James Potter would describe as "freaky to those who witnessed it". But, Calypso remained convinced that she and Sirius were just friends.
Even if she sometimes caught him staring at her in class or when he would wait for her class to finish even if it meant he would be late to his next one — they were just friends.
But that was all right — at least, that's what Calypso would tell herself. Besides, she figured she had enough problems to worry about with a war on the horizon and her crumbling family. Falling in love with Sirius Black was completely out of the question . . . right?
