Here's the deal. Every April 01 Noah, being Noah always proposed to Y/N. Weird, very weird but hey no judgment. Anyways he's not very good at picking the date to propose. This is the 5th time he's done the proposing on April fool's day.

Y/N is waiting for Noah. It's kinda a tradition, they go out every April Fools. *they go out other days too*

"Why are you so mopey today Y/N?" Sadie asked.

"Well Noah hasn't asked or probably isn't ready to go to our date. It's kinda traditional."

"Maybe you should ask him. And to kindly leave." Sadie said.

"Why must I leave? You aren't doing anything?"

"Well I don't know you are just very annoying. Especially moping around."

"Hurtful. True. Hurtful. But I'll go, I have to ask him anyways.

Y/N made her way upstairs, going to where Noah is at the time. As she walked in she saw Noah with his head in his hands.

"Hey you ok Noah?"

Noah sighed, before standing up.

"Yea I'm alright, what's up?" Noah asked.

"Are we going on our date?"

"What date?"

"That date we always go on every April Fool's."

"No."

"Why not we always go. It's like, a tradition."

"Because you always say no." Noah sighed and sat down

"What do you mean? I always say yes to the dates-" you sat down.

"Not the dates" Noah took a ring out from his pocket, and sat in front of Y/N. "You always say no when I propose to you. You think it's fake, my love for you is fake, the proposals aren't fake."

"Wha- what do you mean."

"I mean I've been proposing to you for 5 years, and you always thought it was a April Fool's joke."

"So its always been real?" Y/N asked.

"Yes it has." Noah replied.

"You are now just telling me this."

"Yes."

"Are you proposing to me now?" Y/N asked.

"Ye-no."

"Darn, I was going to say yes."

"You were?" Noah asked, which Y/N nodded.

Noah got on one knee, I'm front of Y/N. To which she just laughed at how Noah's mood changed.

"Y/N, will you marry me?"

"Jeez. No speech, you had 5 years to come up with one." Y/N joked, Noah groaned and cleared his throat.

"Y/N I knew I was going to love you, when I first layed my eyes on you. Sure, we had our troubles-"

"Yea like the Finn thing, then the Millie thing, then the donut-"

"On you wanted a soeech, yet you are interrupting so..." Noah said trailing at the end.

"Oops sorry..." Y/N gave him a 'sorry' smile.

"Anyways, Y/N Y/L/N will you marry me?" Noah asked.

"I mean sure why not." Y/N replied. Noah slipped the ring on her finger.

"One question. Why every April Fool's day did you ask me to marry you?"

"Favorite holiday."
