I'm up to the last of the letters. This time it's a package. As I rip open the cardboard box, my breath catches in my throat. Inside the small box, is Sofia's wedding ring. By it, a card is scrawled with words. Kira... I don't know how to say this. I love you so much, and I'm so sorry. When we met, I'd been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I only had two years to live. The thing I always said? Live every moment? It's my motto because I realized how precious each moment is when you know the number left on your clock. I'd been writing these since our honeymoon. It was only a matter of time. I'll see you again, my love. You and our beautiful girls. Just follow the horizon, Kira. The horizon leads to the end, and I'll be waiting..... -Until we meet again, Sofia...
And that's what I'll do. I'll follow he horizon. As far as it goes. I'd go anywhere for Sofia. Sofia is the only end I can ever look towards.
