"What are you thinking about?" Was the question I had been asked as I stared out at the night sky.

Ross and I were now back out my house, enjoying the nice night.
I was trying to stall as much as possible, not wanting this night with him to end. It had already passed by in the blink of an eye and I was attempting to soak in every moment.

Tucking a piece of hair behind my ear, turning my head to look at him. His eyes held curiosity as he glanced back at me, giving me his full attention.

"How crazy this night has been... I mean, you've always been Ross Lynch to me, a teenage pop star that I knew I had absolutely no chance of ever even meeting. Sitting here with you feels so surreal, like it's a dream I'm about to wake up from. Because you're not Ross Lynch to me anymore, you're Ross, the boy who's managed to make me smile the most I ever have in my life just from one simple message." Was my response to his question.

The smile on his face grew even larger, if possible. He placed his hand lightly on my cheek, rubbing his thumb lightly on it. He stared into my eyes for a moment before bringing his lips to mine for the third time that night.

Saying goodbye to Ross definitely was not my cup of tea. It sucked way more than I thought it would, even though I knew we would be talking again tomorrow morning.
Meeting him once made me want to spend every day with him.

He left me with a small kiss on my forehead, a gesture that I cherished. It left me goofily grinning at him as he drove away.
I hadn't even taken account of the fact that I might not see him often. Part of me worried, but another part of me just wanted to take in the fact that I had actually met my Romeo. It felt as though I had been waiting so long, and the satisfaction of seeing him in person couldn't be topped.

The fact that our first kiss had occurred that night put me in a frenzy. That was not something to be taken lightly.

I sighed in contentment, laying back on my bed. My ears perked up at the sound of the familiar ring of my phone. I grasped the phone in my hand, pressing the lock button before seeing my screen light up.

I could feel the beats of my heart speeding up when I saw the message. Even though he had my number, Ross seemed to enjoy sending me messages on Wattpad. Staying close to our roots, I guess.

Night babe

Squealing loudly I locked my phone and placed it on my nightstand, closing my eyes and sighing happily. This night had gone better than I ever could've imagined.

Out of all the people in the world, the last person I thought my unknown messager would be was Ross. His soft words spiraled around in my head, replaying every moment from this night.

His calm touches and his cliché actions...a literal Romeo.

"Why is your bus taking so long?" I whined, glancing at the clock for the umpteenth time this hour before Nathan shrugged his shoulders.

"Maybe because it left?"

"Oh my god Nate we're late and you're only telling me this now?!" I sighed. Running a hand through my untied hair, grabbing my phone to call mom.

"Hey sweetie."

"Hey mom. Nathan's bus left and he's super late, could you drive him?"

"You guys are outside?" She chuckled before we heard the car ignition turn on, turning around as she hung up. "Get in."

"I have to walk," I pouted before waving them off, hearing their goodbyes.

I held onto my backpack straps, looking at my high tops as I walked having nothing but Ross on my mind.

Being too greedy I realized how much I wished he was mine, crossing out the fact that he's a celebrity. Imagine being with a heartthrob whom takes you out at two in the morning to gaze at stars, despite being sure that nothing, nor even the brightest galaxy created, shines brighter than his hazel, sad eyes.

I felt my phone buz in my short pockets, knowing it's Ross from the instinctive ringtone.

Speak of the angel.

"Hello?"

"Good morning," I smiled, feeling my heart pound at his voice.

"Good morning. Slept well?"

"Never better."

"That's great. What are you doing right now?" I heard him rasp as a pebble skipped on the pavement.

"Walking to school, sadly."

"You won't be sad once you get back."

"Huh?" I giggled, at the mystery he was currently trying to hide hearing him groan lowly at my laughs.

"Don't try to know the surprise."

"Whatever you say, Romeo."

"Okay, babygirl. I can't wait for you to see it. I wish I could be there to see that cute smile of yours."

Is it just me or did my heart forget how to function properly?

I'm low key falling for a goofball and I'm loving it.
