"Emma!"
I shook my head snapping out of my day dream. Miss Benson crossed her arms, an expectant and angry glare set right at me.
"74!" I shook my head, blurting out the first answer to come to mind. I furred my eyebrows at my own stupidity. I wasn't even in math, I was in World History.
The class laughed, only making me hate this school even more. The teacher's glare worsened, making me almost shrink in my seat. I couldn't stop thinking of what happened between Ross and I.
I had been spacing out all day and it definitely would not be benefiting my grades. Miss Benson turned back around to the board, easing my nerves. I did not need to get sent back to the principals office.
My phone dinged, making me cringe at the way the sound carried throughout the classroom. Miss Benson slowly turned to face us once again, glancing around the room.
"Was that you, Emma?" She questioned, staring at me with her usual grimace.
I shook my head, holding up my phone to show the blank screen, "Nope! My phone's off."
As if my life wanted to my day absolute hell, my phone decided to go off again, lighting up the once blank screen. I squeezed my eyes shut, seeing that, of course, Ross had messaged me."Get out of my class!"

"You got me kicked out of my class, you asshole!"Ross's chuckle sounded like music to my ears, not helping me stay mad at him. I saw him smile widely through our face time call.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He attempted to say seriously, but giggles escaped his mouth again.
I rolled my eyes playfully, trying to keep the smile off my face but failing as well. There was no way to stay mad at this kid."No, but really, I'm sorry. i just wanted to talk. I didn't wanna get you in trouble." Ross sighed, making me smile widely.
"It's fine... I'd honestly rather talk to you, anyways."
His smile got bigger as well, his eyes lighting up, "I wanna take you out to dinner tonight."
My eyes became significantly wider, the thought scaring me.
"In public?" I laughed nervously, scratching my neck. Though, I knew completely what he meant."I only say this because I really mean it, you make me go insane. And I'm not scared of that feeling. I wanna take you everywhere I go and show you off. It's like, the sky's clear when you're the view. I know the fans might flip out, but I just want everyone to know about you."
His words melted my heart, giving me no reason to decline his offer."Of course." I nodded, a grin adorning my features. It was not humanly possible to not smile around Ross. He always knew exactly what to say.
"Great. I'll see you at 8 sharp. Be ready for the night of your life." Ross winked, the face time call ending seconds later.
Any night with him was the best night of my life.

"What do you think?"
"Have you asked him how to dress?"
"He said he's taking me out to diner so I'm guessing something formal," I looked up at my mother, watching her wide grin.
Here we go.
"My baby is all grown up going out on dinner dates," she fanned her face, making me blush madly, "awww your dress matches your cheeks!!"
"Mom,"I whined, trying hopelessly to contain my smile, "I've been waiting for the perfect moment for this dress pleases tell me I look fine."
"You look literally flawless," she jumped lightly, sitting me down in front of the hairdresser. "Now let's put your hair in a pretty waterfall braid."
