Chapter 7

Justin's POV:

I was waiting on an answer from Kristin when the door flung open revealing an angry Selena.

"WHY HAVENT YOU ANSWERED ME?!"

I gave her a confused look as she walked over to the couch and towered over me.

"What do you mean?"

She glared at me in then answered. "I HAVE BEEN TEXTING AND CALLING YOU AND YOU HAVENT BEEN ANSWERING ME!"

I stood up on my feet so now we were looking at each other face to face.

"Excuse me, but I think you were the one that said we were done. So why should I answer you?"

"Are you kidding me?! Are you not even going to act like you miss me?!" Selena crossed her arms across her chest.

"Why would I do that? When you would just bring me down."

"You know what I was a great girlfriend! I loved you Justin! I would've done anything for you!" I could see some tears building up in her eyes.

Just then my phone went off and I knew it was Kristin. My eyes widened as I shoved my phone in my pocket.

Selena gave me a confused look. "Who is that Justin?"

"Uh nobody. Selena you need to leave. You ended this relationship, not me. It would be best of you would just leave."

"You can't do this Justin!!" Tears were now falling from her eyes.

"Yes Selena I can. Now please leave." I walked over to the door opening it.

She stomped over to me. "Whatever!" Then she stormed out.

I sighed and walked back over to the couch sitting down hearing my phone go off again.

I pulled my phone out to see two messages from Kristin.

"Haha your fine! I would kind of like to get to know you too!" ~K

"Hey is everything okay?"~K

I sighed and replied back to her.

"Yeah everything is just great!" ~J

I sat there waiting for her to reply. As I did I laid down across the couch just thinking. My life will be so much happier without Selena right? I mean she made me miserable.

Just then my phone went off.

I looked at the message Kristin sent me and showed a small smile.

"Okay Justin. First thing you need to know about me is I don't like liars. You wanna call?"~K

"Yeah sure."~J

I dialed Kristin's number and called her. I just needed someone to talk to.

Kristin's POV:

I was sitting on my balcony listening to music and sketching when my phone went off. I put my pencil down and reached for my phone reading the caller ID. It was Justin so I answered.

"Okay no lying this time Justin. What happened? I won't say a word and nobody is around to hear." I just wanted him to know that I'm here for him.

I heard a sigh on Justin's side of the phone. "Selena happened."

"I thought you guys are a couple?" I mean I don't know much about Justin, but CiCi was always talking about them being together.

It took Justin a second before he croaked out an answer. "We uh, she uh broke up with me a day before the concert."

"Oh Justin I'm sorry! Why'd she do that? You're a great guy."

"Because I wouldn't miss rehearsal to go hang out with her. I mean she had been treating me pretty bad lately, but I couldn't miss rehearsal or I would've been in trouble. She just didn't understand that I couldn't be with her 24/7."

"Justin you have a career to keep up with. You have to focus on that too. What she did was wrong. She overreacted in my opinion, but it's not my place. I just want you to know that I'm here for you when you need to talk and that all your secrets are safe with me. Also if I was with you right now I would give you a big hug." I smiled even though Justin couldn't see me.

"Thanks Kristin. Yeah I know what you're saying and I understand. Your smiling right now aren't you? Well actually probably blushing now."

I got up off my bed looking around my room. "Are you Stalking me Mr. Bieber?!"

"Haha no I wouldn't do that to you trust me. It's extremely annoying when the paps do that to me."

I yawned into the phone.

"Sounds like someone is tired. I have one more question and then I will let you go." He sounded pretty excited.

"Shoot for it!" I giggled a little.

"Okay so you want to hang out tomorrow? I can uh pick you up and everything." Now he sounded nervous.

"OMG I would love to Justin!! But the last day of school is tomorrow."

"Just skip it! For me pleaseeeeeee!" He drug out the word "please".

"Ugh fine Justin! If I miss anything it's on you."I laughed a little.

"Fair enough. I will text you in the morning with the details. See ya Kristin! Sleep tight!"

"Goodnight Justin! I will be watching my phone then. See ya tomorrow."

I hung up and put my phone on charge.

I threw on some pajamas and collapsed in bed. I was so tired. Although knowing I am skipping school tomorrow makes me feel better.

My eyes flew open when I realized I would be ditching CiCi. I groaned and buried my head in my pillow.

Who knows maybe she'll understand that I ditched her to hang out with her idol. Ugh.
