___Kit's POV___

I had already put on most of my clothing and fixed my hair. I don't usually like to go out but, I was kind of forced to in a way. My...."parents" wanted to have a night out for once and they left me to go to this party. Just because I'm into horror stuff! It was around 6 in the after-noon, they had said that the event was going to get started in an hour. I sat down and got on my phone browsing on the internet a bit. I messed around with my hair as well, which only made it even more messy. Time started to pass and it was getting closer to the time I was supposed to be there. I got up and put on my scarf and sweater vest. The entire road and sidewalk were barren, I took some pepper spray just in case. Some people started coming down the block, a good majority of them wore either formal clothing or party wear. Some were even wearing something you'd wear to a Halloween party, probably to make fun of it for some reason or another. The group pushed and shoved their way into the single door, I just waited out the storm.

The porch was decorated with red candles, ash on the white fence, and weapons covering the yard. Weird that literally no one has noticed this house, or the woman or man who lived here. I held onto my pepper spray tighter whilst walking in. The inside was decorated with candles, red fairy lights, black tinsel-like material and a giant black symbol on the rug, I couldn't tell what if was because people were covering it up. For a one-evening party this person went all out, they're either really passionate about this or something else....can only pray really.

Around less than fifty people showed up, which is still a lot for me to handle. I panic at twenty people, I really wish I didn't come honestly. Most of them went for party outfits. I went to the restroom and sat down in the bathtub for a while, not wanting to engage in any conversation whatsoever. I sat in silence for a good while, for what seemed seconds was really almost half an hour most likely.

Loud banging came from the door, "WHOEVER'S IN THERE COME OUT NOW!" I groaned getting up from the bathtub and walking out. The man banging on the door glared at me while I did the same to him. There was a second floor that wasn't as crowded so I went up there and decided to stand by the railing. Watching the guests enjoy themselves here.

I felt a hand gently place on my shoulder. I turned around, it was the host, I could tell from the name tag on their vest.

Just Evelyn, no miss or mister surprisingly.

They were either a woman with short hair or a male with slightly longer hair. They had dark skin, bright ice blue eyes, and clothes that almost resembled mine. They spoke, "The game is about to start."
