The Game.

Chapter 4: Dorm Fire

      Later that night Austin, Kat, Payne, and I sat in or dorm room. Payne had pulled a thin black square pad out of her backpack and place it in the center of the room. "What is that? I asked. "It's a holo-pad, it projects holographic images of most anything u could think of." "Like what?" "Well for example a bonfire."

       Payne then touched her palm to the holo-pad and said bonfire. As soon as she did the room roared to life with light from what looked like a pit of fire in the middle of the room. "There now we can feel like we're on vacation." It was pretty cool I gotta admit.  That was the first time I heard Payne talk to anyone besides her sister  she seemed to stay mostly to herself.

      "Where are you girls from "Austin asked. "We are from New York." Kat replied. "What about yourselves?" Me and my man Max are from right here in Kansas City, but New York That's a far way just to come here?" "Well we heard this was the best Tech University in the country, so we came."

      After a while of talking we found out that Payne was a master hacker also a little on the shy side but had a certain dark yet elegant side to her that she pulled of very well. Kat was really good with numbers and finding solutions to problems no mater the subject. Austin like I said is my best friend he could design anything u could of and if it broke he could fix it.

         Everyone here had a skill that seemed useful in the situation we put ourselves in but me. I just like using technology and playing games and finding out what they can do and how the work which I guess was somewhat ok but not as cool as me classmates. We all went to bed wondering what was instore for tomorrow.
