So I'm back on a charter bus back home for a week um trying to think about what I should tell my parents. Austin lives just a few blocks away from my house so he's riding home with me his parents are meeting him at my house as well. My mom wanted a big get-together for my return even though I have only been gone for about a week.

I don't know what to tell my parents I know my dad could handle it but I don't want to worry my mom.
My little brother would probably just think I'm making it up or just think it's the coolest thing ever. Just then Austin nudged me with his elbow. "Hey homie we are home."

I looked out the window to see my mom, dad, Gabe, and Austin's parents standing on the front porch. We got off the bus and walked to the house. As soon as we got to the steps were bombarded with hugs, kisses, and questions. After an eternity of smothering love we went inside to sit down.

We talked about how school was so far except I left out the could be end of the world game part. I figured that they didn't need to know. Plus it would probably be to hard to explain.
Mom made a ham and twice baked potato my fave. I had asked Austin to not tell his parents ither. It was kinda hard to avoid with all the questions they asked us.

In the end we just decided to tell them we where helping design a video game, which wasn't entirely a lie but not the whole truth. We sat up all night talking, joking, and laughing.
It was a good night. I just hope I'll have more nights like this after I go back to the school and enter this game.
