Lauren's POV
"Camz," I breathe out upon waking up.
"She's still at the dance." Ally said softly, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "You've only been asleep for an hour."
Swallowing thickly, I look up at Ally tiredly. "Want Camz."
"I know." Ally said softly. "She'll be back soon, I promise."
"Call her?" I ask weakly, I just wanted Camila to come home and take care of me.
"Laur, she needs some time with Lucy, I'll take care of you." Ally said softly.
Shaking my head weakly, I fight back tears. "Want Camz."
"Shh." Ally cooed, running her fingers gently through my hair and down the side of my face.
"Call Camz," I breathe out, looking up at her.
"Just go back to sleep." Ally said softly.
Closing my eyes, I force myself to fall asleep.
Two years later
"Camz?" I call out in confusion, watching as she packs her bags.
Pausing, Camila looks up at me and smiles softly. "Yeah Laur?"
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Lucy asked me to move in with her." She responds, running a hand through her hair.
"Oh." I dropped my head and looked at her through my hair.
Sighing, Camila moves over to me and lifts my head, looking into my eyes. "Laur, we've talked about this. What happened between us, it was wrong. I'm with Lucy and you've told me many times that you didn't have feelings for me."
I pulled my head out of her hand and walked over to my bed, picking up my jumper. "Dixson needs exercise." I muttered before leaving.
By the time I came back to the room with the other girls, Camila and Lucy were laying on her bed, making out.
I rolled my eyes and took off my jumper, throwing it on my bed. I ruffled my hair with my hand. "I'm taking a shower." I told the girls before making my way into the bathroom.
Two years ago after Camila came back from the dance and I was better, we had somewhat of a relationship.
I knew it was wrong and so did she but I don't want her to leave. She's my best friend, plus Lucy is in the enemy house.
The bathroom door opens and closes before the sound of the lock clicking fills my ears.
"Laur, talk to me." Camila says softly, opening the shower door some. "What's going on?"
"Camila!" I covered myself with my arms. "What the hell?!"
Rolling her eyes, Camila looks at me. "You don't have to cover up, we're best friends. Besides it's not like I haven't seen you completely naked many times before."
"Get out." I responded.
"I was just coming in to say goodbye and to see if you were okay, but whatever." Camila responds before leaving.
I bit my lip harshly. Once the door was closed, I backed up again the wall and slumped down until I was sitting on the floor with the water splashing over me. I burst into silent tears.
****
It's been almost four months since Camila moved out and she hasn't texted me at all. She won't even talk to me during our lessons or practice for our final House Cup competition.
It's killing me inside. I can't eat, I can't sleep, and I can't concentrate.
"Why don't you try talking to her again?" Normani asks, sitting beside me at lunch.
"What's the point?" I mumbled, pushing my tray of food away. "She won't listen. She doesn't even look at me."
Normani sighs and runs a hand through her hair. "Then maybe you should just try and move on."
"She's my best friend..." I looked down, hiding my face with my hair, a habit I had become used to. "... or at least she was."
"You can't exactly be friends when everyone knows you both have feelings for each other." Normani responds.
"I don't have feeling for her." I stood up and walked away.
I made my way toward the barn, getting halfway there before walking into someone.
"Ow, watch it." Lucy snaps out.
"Sorry." I muttered, flinching away.
Rolling her eyes, Lucy glares at me. "Can you stop texting and calling my girlfriend? She doesn't want to talk to you."
"She is... was... my friend." I mumbled.
"Yeah well she isn't anymore. Get over it and leave her alone." The older girl snaps out before suddenly beginning to smile. "Hey babe."
Camila smiles as she walks over and kisses Lucy before smiling at me. "Hey Laur, you haven't texted me."
"You don't reply so what's the point." I responded, keeping my head down and looking at them through my hair.
Frowning, Camila moves closer. "I haven't received any messages from you, I thought you were mad at me so I was leaving you alone."
I frowned and pulled my phone from my pocket. I opened it and found all the messages I sent her, turning my phone to show her.
Grabbing my phone, Camila's frown deepens and she pulls out her phone, doing the same thing.
I watched her silently through my hair.
"The past text it shows is from the night before I moved out." Camila says softly, looking up at me. "But your last text is from this morning."
I nodded. "Maybe your phone is broken." I mumbled.
Shaking her head, Camila puts her phone in her pocket and turns to look at Lucy. "Did you delete messages from my phone? Or mute Lauren's messages?"
"I haven't touched your phone." Lucy said.
Frowning, Camila hands me my phone. "You had it the night I left."
"I didn't do anything with it. I just held it for you." Lucy said.
"Then why am I not receiving any texts from Lauren but I am from everyone else?" Camila responds, frowning even more.
"How am I supposed to know? I'm not a tech genius." Lucy said. "We are supposed to be going on a ride."
Sighing, Camila turns to look at me. "Wanna ride with us?"
I glanced up at her and then at Lucy. "Um..."
"Please? I miss my best friend." Camila says softly, stepping closer to me.
Lucy glared at me, narrowing her eyes.
I swallowed. "Um..."
Cupping my cheek, Camila looks into my eyes. "Come with us?"
"Okay," was all I could think to say and was all I could get out.
