Chapter 5; Room mates

<Shelby's POV>

I wake up to the sound of an annoying beep.An alarm. I look around and forget where I am and I suddenly have a mini panic attack and start looking around, I look up and see I'm laying on, JOEY?!? I silently sit up and look at his sleepy face. Let me tell you, it was perfect. He starts to stir in his sleep and he opens his eyes and sees me and smiles. "Good afternoon sleepy head" I say while giggling. "Good afternoon, beautiful." He's says while smiling and blushing. I blush and look down. He gets up and walks into the kitchen then to say "Hey it's 5:30, wanna go get something to eat?" He asks while getting a bottle water. I stuttered and said "Umm yeah sure!" I say shakily. He comes in and smiles at me. "Let me go to the bathroom and I'll be right out." He says. "Okay I'll be out here." He smiles and walks into his room.

<Joey's POV>

I walk into my bedroom and then into my bathroom and look at my self in the mirror to make my self look presentable then I walk back out to Shelby and she's just sitting on my couch play something on her phone. I say "Gurll! Your ready to go?". "Boii you know it!" she says while giggling. I grab my keys off the counter and I take her hand and were off! Me and Shelby walk out to my car and then I open the passenger door for Shelby, then walking around the car and opened my door and got in. I put the keys in the ignition and the engine roared to life. Shelby kept looking at her hands and then out the window. I turned on the radio and "Still into you" by Paramore, I got so happy and starting belting out the lyrics. Shelby was singing it to her self. I smiled to my self. The girl I like likes Paramore, well I think I like her.. We finally arrived to this Chinese restaurant called Lieus. I heard about this place and they said it was pretty good, I hope it is. We walk inside and instantly this old Chinese lady(not being racist c:) came up to us and said "Table for two?". "Yes please." I say with a smile. She's lead us to a booth and Shelby gets in on one side and I got in the other one. I opened the menu and the writing was really small I had to have the menu closer to my face, then I heard Shelby giggle and I set the menu back down and gave her a evil look and instantly failing and started cracking up and Shelby did too. "Shelby, do you know what you want?" I asked her. "Umm.. Not really, I'll have anything your having." She says with a smile. I smile back at her. I picked up the menu again and looked at the soups and I saw one I wanted then I saw white rice and almond chicken combo. "Hey Shelby? I kinda want to try the sizzling rice soup and the rice and almond chicken combo. Would you like that?" I asked her. She looked up at me and her face was like she's seen a ghost. "Yeah that sounds good." She says shakily. The waitress comes by again and asked in a cheerily voice, "Do you guys know what you want?" "Yes we will have the number 4 and also number 72?" I say to the waitress, she smiles and nods then picks up the menus and walks away. I turn to Shelby and she is looking at me with a smile on her face and I smile back. We spent the rest of the time talking about our selfs to each other and then the food came. Shelby really wasn't eating, I mean she had food on her plate but she was like picking at it and taking really small bites. The waitress came by and put the check on the table and both me and Shelby reach for the check and I instantly grabbed it and said "You really think I'm going to let you pay?" I say while chuckling. Shelby giggles and grabs her wallet, "We'll if your paying I'm leaving the tip." She says to me. "Deal." I say. We both get up and leave the restaurant and walk to the car. I walk over to the passenger side and open the door for Shelby and she gets in then I walk over to the drivers side and get

in.

<Shelby's POV>

Joey opened the door for me and then walked over to the drivers side and got in. He's so nice I can't handle it c: . He put the key in the ignition and started up the car. "Where am I taking you Shelby?" He looks at me and asks. "Back to my apartment will be fine." I say and give him directions to my place. We finally arrive and I open the door and so does Joey and he gets out and he follows me up to my apartment, i get my keys out from my purse and I unlock the door and invite Joey inside. "This is my place, it's kinda messy right now, I haven't gotten around to cleaning it." I say while giggling. Joey walks in and instantly I see Candace and Lexi on the couch. (Candace and Lexi are my room mates, and there a couple. c: ) Lexi looks up and sees me with Joey and gives a smile then Candace looks at me then Joey and her eyes go wide. She squeals and says, "OMG! Your Joey Graceffa! I love your videos!" She says while jumping up and running over to Joey to give him a hug. He laughs and said "Well it's nice to meet some one who watches my videos! What's your name?" He asks Candace. "My name is Candace and this is Lexi." She says while pointing to Lexi that's on the couch. Lexi gets up and walks over to Joey and holds out her hand, Joey instantly takes her hand and shakes it. "So when and where did you guys meet?" Lexi asks us. "We meet at the doctors this morning and kinda just hung out today." I say. "Awh that's nice she says to us. Joey laughs and says, "Well Shelby I have to get going, it was nice meeting you guys!". "It was nice meeting you too." Candace and Lexi say to Joey. "Well come on Candace let's let the say goodbye to each other." Lexi says as she grabs Candace's hand and leads her upstairs. Joey walks over to me and opens his arms out to invite me to hug him. I gladly accept and we kinda just stood there hugging. It felt right. Then we both let go and he said, "I had a really nice time with you today, I hope we get to hang out again sometime soon." He says while smiling. "Yeah of course! I had a good time hanging out with you." I say while giggling. "Well ill text you tonight and I'll see you soon." He says while walking out the door. "Okay see you soon!" I say while closing the door.
