Kurami ran off with Sasuke as he had broken out. She was a little concerned for him but didn't say anything. She only followed him through the forest sensing many chakra sources of many kinds, even some she would rather forget. "Kurami are you doing alright? You're awfully quiet." She looked at Sasuke and sped up to catch up with him. "I'm fine." Her eyes widened and she instantly looked forward sensing a chakra source she was hoping not to sense yet. She stopped Sasuke as Itachi stopped in front of them. Sasuke's eyes widened seeing his older brother alive. He looked down at Kurami and she scowled at Itachi. "I thought I told you it wasn't time yet! Your illnesses may have been cured but the damage it caused still needs to finish healing! Dam it Itachi! You and you brother drive me nuts!" Itachi chuckled at her and so would have Sasuke if he wasn't in so much shock. "You. You saved him? But how did you hide him from Madara?" She sighed letting her head drop. But before she could explain Itachi interrupted her. "We don't have time to talk. We can after the war is over. Evidently there is someone controlling a jutsu called the reanimation jutsu. Kurami clenched her fists. "Dam you Tobirama." Sasuke placed a hand on her shoulder as Itachi continued. "I'm heading over to stop him now. I believe he goes by the name of Kabuto." Kurami and Sasuke looked at each other. "I take it you two know him?" They both nodded and took off following Itachi. Kurami sped up to catch up with Itachi and Sasuke frowned. "I warn you Itachi, Kabuto was Orochimaru's right hand. Sasuke knows more about him than I do as he had more freedom but Kabuto was still really close to him. So who knows what he's capable of." She looked back at Sasuke and smiled softly brining a spark of joy in him and he nodded.
The three stopped in front of the cave and walked in. "My my. I didn't expect you to ever come see me again Kurami." She glared at Kabuto activating her Mangekyo. "And you'll wish I hadn't too dam snake." Kabuto chuckled standing up not looking her in the eyes. She closed her eyes creating hand signs. "Oh? I've never seen those put together before. What jutsu is this?" She opened her eyes and they were pale white. "Prepare to die snake." She took off at him and he dodged every punch and was just able to dodge the strike from her sword as she pulled it out. She looked around as he had disappeared analyzing the room and jumped out of the way as snakes moved at her. "You'll have to be smarter than that snake. My eyes can see everything now." Sasuke's eyes widened. "She's blinded herself." Itachi frowned. "I hope this jutsu of hers doesn't have cause damage." Sasuke nodded in agreement.
Kurami walked a few paces forward and counted. Once she got to five she stomped her foot on the ground causing a crater and she looked to the side seeing a slight movement. She smirked at the figure hiding in the shadows. "So the snake wants to play with shadows does it?" Itachi grabbed Sasuke's arm and backed away from the fight a good distance. She ran at the shadow and threw a punch finding it a clone. She chuckled but when she turned around she was punched in the gut. She launched forward and grabbed his forearm. She smirked up at him tightening her grip. "Your big mistake. Don't let the enemy get ahold of you. Always strike a lethal blow." She threw him onto his back flipping him. She dragged him as he was out of breath and paralysed from hitting his back on the ground. She let her jutsu got and placed her hands over her eyes hissing in pain. "Itachi! Take care of the rest." Itachi nodded running to them placing Kabuto in a weak Genjutsu just to control him. Sasuke ran to Kurami's aid and helped her stand up as she had her hand over her eyes still. "Are you alright Kurami?" She nodded at Sasuke's question. "I'll be fine. My eyes will be sensitive to the light for a bit." He nodded and Itachi walked over to them as Kabuto was still on his back and had finished releasing the reanimation jutsu. Itachi looked at Kurami debating to tell her or not. He's was sure she could sense his chakra but he didn't know for sure. Two voices began to echo into the cave as Suigetsu and Jugo got close to the trio. Suigetsu whistled and smirked. "I'm amazed Kurami. Sasuke you have your competition back." Sasuke shook his head and Itachi sighed. Jugo smacked Suigetsu on the back of his head and Suigetsu glared at him with one eye as he rubbed where he was hit in pain. "What was that for?" Jugo pointed to his chest. "The scroll." Suigetsu jumped in excitement. "Right! Sasuke we found something for you!" Sasuke raised a brow at him and Suigetsu pulled a scroll out of his top handing it to Sasuke. Kurami frowned as Sasuke read it. Once he closed it he looked at Kabuto. "We'll have to bring him back." Everyone looked over at the unconscious Anko no one ever noticed in the beginning. Suigetsu shivered. "Do we really have to?" Sasuke nodded. "Jugo, get some flesh from Kabuto and put it on her mark." Jugo nodded and did as told. Kurami ran behind Itachi and he grabbed her arm firmly for comfort. They watched as Orochimaru came out of a snakes mouth from the woman's mark. Orochimaru smirked at everyone in the room. "Well well Itachi. I see Kurami managed to save you after all. I wish I could have kept her longer." Itachi's grip tightened allspice he glared at Orochimaru. "Enough. Here." Sasuke handed Orochimaru the scroll and he took it reading it. Orochimaru looked up at him questionably. "Are you sure? You do realize you have Misty within our presence don't you?" Sasuke sighed and nodded. "Yes I am aware of this." Suigetsu and Jugo were confused but no one seemed to care.
