Your POV

I was waiting in front of the school for Lacus. I was scrolling through my phone, looking at some memes.

I laughed at the first one I saw. Soon, I saw Lacus turning the corner and heading to the school. It was pretty cold out, so both of us were in our scarves and warm clothing. I waved and his face lit up when he saw me.

I ran over to him. "Lacus! Hey!" He smiled and playfully punched my arm. "So, (Y/n). Whaddya wanna do?" I smiled. "Coffee sound good?" He nodded. "Good? Sounds great!"

**Time Skip**

We were in Town Square, sipping our steaming coffees. The Christmas tree was up, and the lights were bright and colorful. I smiled at the sight. Lacus was next to me, and I'm could feel his state in the back of my head. I smiled to myself.

"Hey, (Y/n)?" Lacus asked shyly. "Yes, Lacus?" My eyes were flowing in the light of the Christmas tree, since we were sitting in one of the benches in front of it. We were in the center of Town Square. Swarms of people surrounded us.

"I . . . I need to tell you something." I leaned in, intrigued. "What is it? Something wrong?" He shook his head. "No, no. Nothing's wrong. I just . . . " His cheeks started to turn red, and he sipped his coffee. He opened his mouth to finally say something.

"I love you, (Y/n)." 

My eyes were wide, and his face was red, he tried to hide his face, but he wasn't fast enough. I grabbed his coat collar and kissed him. I didn't have any thoughts going through my head, except for one: I've been waiting for this moment.

I pulled away and looked him in ppt he eye. He sat there blushing harder and his eyes avoiding mine. "So. I take it you like me too?" I smiled. "Yes. Yes I do." His face lit up as he smiled at me.

He leaned in and we kissed once again, in the middle of Town Square, not a single care in the world.
