The bell rang signaling to me that a new guest came in. "Ciao! This is the Vargas Veterinary Clinic, how may I help you." I Said with a smile. "Hello ,and yes I need to see Feliciano, the person who runs the clinic?" He asked me. "Well this is him speaking to you silly, what's your name." I merrily chimed, making eye contact with his violet eyes. "My name is Roderick ,and I'm here to put my dog down." He spoke with clear regal tone. "Ohh, um, if I may asked why do you want to put your pooch down?" I couldn't help but asked. "He's bitten several people, so I have to." He was cold, and all I could think about was why was he putting his dog down willingly and not fighting for it. "What's his name?" I questioned him in the chance he might reconsider."Gilbert, I named he after a annoying friend of mine who went missing." He spoke and I could've sworn that I heard just a, ping of sadness  in his voice. "Oh well, bring him in than..." I quipped sadly. "Alright I'll go get him."He opened the door and left for five minutes but knowing what I had to do it felt like centuries before he came back with an albino German Shepherd. "So is this Gilbert?"I asked the both of them knowing my gift. "Yes it is." Roderick said in the tone I always heard him speak. "What's going on?" Gilbert's voice rang through my ears. It was scratchy and had quite a heavy accent. "Come on, and bring him in the room." I had to keep it cool do to I didn't want some crazy government experiments being preformed on me. As we walked in the room Gilbert started to yell and bark."OI!WHAT'S GOING ON, SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME,PLEASE!" "Shut up you dumb mutt!"Roderick scolded him causing Gilbert to whimper. "Can you leave the room so I can start." I said as I picked up Gilbert and put him on the table. "Fine, as a matter of fact, I'm leaving him here I don't care what you do about that, mutt." He snobbishly said as he left. "Roderick I thought, I thought...." Gilbert sounded like he was going to cry. "So are you ready to go under?" I asked him in a calming voice. "What do you mean by that?" Gilbert said backing up and away from me. "I'm just going to put you to sleep,ok just stay calm." I quipped hoping this dog didn't know the meaning of what I just said. "NEIN! DON'T PLEASE! I'M HUMAN! Please, don't kill me....." I saw and heard something I never experienced before, a dog crying ,and claiming to be human.
