Sweet Surprise

I turned off my side lamp and pulled the covers over my face.

"Brooke..are you ok?" Pony asked laying down next to me.

"I guess so.." I replied looking down.

"Come here." Pony said opening his arms. I climbed into them an he hugged me.

I put my head on his chest and hugged him back.

"It'll be ok." Pony assured me. I looked up at him and smiled. Then I feel asleep.

I woke up the next morning and the sun was shining through the hotel curtains.

I reached over and PonyBoy wasn't there. "Pony?" I 'whisper yelled' "Right here." He answered poking his head out from the kitchen.

I laughed at that and got out of bed. I looked down at my legs with the bruises and cuts. The bruises were a darker color but the cuts were starting to heal.

I went into the kitchen and got a bowl out. I grabbed some cereal from the cabinet and poured some milk in the bowl.

"I have something special planned for today." Pony said pulling a chair up and sitting next to me.

"Oh really?" I teased. We both laughed and he nodded.

"Yep! I think you'll like it." He grinned.

"I'm sure I will!" I smiled.

After breakfast I went to my suitcase to pick my outfit. I grabbed ripped shorts, a pink tank top, a blue crop top that said 'LOVE' on it and the letters had pictures of flowers inside them.

I also grabbed my teal sandals and walked into the bathroom.

Once I got out of the shower I put on all of my clothes and got out a hot pink hair-bow.

I put my hair up in a messy bun. Then I put on some light pink eyeshadow on with eyeliner and mascara.

I grabbed my sandals, slipped them on my feet, and walked out of the bathroom.

"You look nice today..." Pony said looking at my legs. You could still faintly see some of the bruises.

"Thank you!" I blushed and he looked back up at me and smiled.

I waited for Pony to get done with his shower so I walked into the kitchen to get a drink and noticed already made sandwiches, a pie, and many other foods.

"What the?" I said in my head. I decided to ignore it cause I really wanted to catch up on my favorite T.V. Series Ouat.

I grabbed a cookie from our "secret stash" and hopped on the bed.

I watched the last episode of the season and was awestruck.

"Please don't leave series!!! Pleaseeeeeee!!!! I complained.

My face fell into my pillow of frustration and I decided to walk onto the small balcony.

It was circular and had black railings surrounding it. It also faced the beach.

It felt good to feel the wind blowing through my hair and I stare at the blue waves crashing into the shore.

I looked down and saw a lazy river invaded in glass with a opening on its right side. You could probably see the ocean from that angle.

I gasped "I didn't know there was a lazy river!!!!!" I yelled, excitedly.

"Ok Brooke I'm d-" Pony said but I jumped in him excitedly about my new discovery.

"Pony! Pony! Pony! Can we please go to the lazy river?!" I yelled happily.

He laughed and answered "Sure, after your surprise!" "Yes!" I yelled and did my happy dance.

"I already told Darry what we were doing so no need to worry." He said while walking into the kitchen.

"Kay!!!" I answered happily while walking back to the balcony.

"Ready to go Brookie?" Pony asked. I laughed " Yes Ponieeeee!" I squealed like a little girl.

We both laughed at this and he grabbed my hand as we walked out the door.

He was holding something in his other hand to I just couldn't make out what it was cause it was covered with some type of cloth.

We went down the elevator and walked out of the hotel.

"Close your eyes." Pony said squeezing my hand.

"Ok but don't let me bump into anything!" I teased.

We walked for about three minutes till I felt sand on my toes.

We walked further and he helped me sit down on what I think was a rock.

"Ok now keep then closed! I have to do something." "Ok..?" I answered confused.

After about five minutes he grabbed into my hand and helped me stand up. "Ok, open!" He said excitedly.

I opened my eyes to a quiet spot on the beach with calm waves slowly moving back and fourth.

Then I looked down and saw a picnic set up with all sorts of foods and a plate with a card on it that said "I love you." on it. Then on top of the card there was a rose which was my favorite flower.

"Oh Pony!" I yelled happy and pulled him into a big hug. "Thank you, so, so, so, much!"

"Your welcome Brookie!" He said and hugged me even tighter. We both shared a laugh and let go from our hug.

I sat down on one side of the neatly placed table cloth and pony sat on the other.

Then we began eating and I couldn't stop myself about thinking how perfect this moment was.
