I woke up on the couch with a sprite can in my hand. Looking around I saw F/N all spread out with a blanket covering her face, I chuckled at the position she was in. I got up from the couch and I saw my phone on the coffee table. I sighed when I saw that my mom was calling me, I reached out for my phone, and answered it.

"Hello, mom." I said with my sleepy/groggy voice.

"Hello my baby. Did you just wake up?" She asked.

I nodded, but then realized that I was on the phone, "Yeah, F/N and I had a girls night at my house. It probably lasted too long."

I heard her giggle from the other side of the phone, "Oh you girls. Speaking of F/N, I haven't heard from her in years. Is she with you?"

"Mom, you know you were talking to her like last week, right? But yeah, she is here with me, but she's sleeping." I answered.

"Oh well. That's fine, she needs her rest, especially with that boss of her's." She said with a hint of disappointment about not getting to talk to her.

"Mom, you're acting like I'm not even your daughter. Do you like her more than you do to me?" I asked.

"No, honey. It's not that, but she's like another daughter to me." I huffed after she said that. "Don't be jealous, Y/N. You're still my daughter." She giggled after she finished her sentence.

"Okay." I said. The next thing I heard out of her mouth wanted to make me end the phone call before she said it.

"Sooo.... have you found a boyfriend yet?" Why didn't I think that she'd bring this into the conversation.

"No, mom-" My phone was snatched out of my hand, and I saw F/N with it. I looked at her with a 'why did you do that' look.

"Hello, Mrs. Y/L/N (your last name)! How're you doing?" She asked my mom.

F/N

"Hello, Mrs. Y/L/N! How're you doing?" I asked Y/N's mother.

"F/N is that you? Oh my baby! I'm fine, and how are you, my dear?" She excitedly asked.

"Yes, it is me. I'm doing fine, I just woke up to hear Y/N talking to you on the phone, so I thought that I'd talk to you. It's been forever since I said anything to you." I told her.

"Oh that's great, hun. Soo, have you heard anything about Y/N and a boy that she needs to be dating?" She asked.

"Actually, yes. Yesterday, Jungkook asked us to go to lunch with him and his girlfriend, and when we were there Y/N hit it off with this waiter." I saw Y/N waving her arms telling me to stop. I smirked and kept going on about yesterday. "And the waiter called her beautiful after she accidentally commented him on his features. Oh and guess what? He gave her his number!" I heard Y/N's mother freak out on the other end of the phone call while I did as she did, too.

Y/N took the phone out of my hand, "Hey! I was talking to her!" I crossed my arms with a pouty face on. She mouthed 'I don't care' and stuck out her tongue at me. I got up, and walked up the stairs to get my day ready.

Y/N

"Hi, mom. Don't listen to F/N, she was just joking." I tried to cover up the mess F/N made. I swear that girl, she's like my mom.

"Don't lie, Y/N. It's fine. Oh, I got another phone call. Bye, baby, talk to you later." She made kissy noises.

"Bye." I sighed, because she'll probably pester me about Ace. I should get ready.

*Time Skip*

I saw F/N talking on the phone, and when she saw me she got up, and left to the bathroom. Weird. Well, that shower really left me in a good mood, so I'm not going to destroy it. I went to the kitchen, and grabbed (your favorite cereal) for my breakfast. After I ate it all, I went to go pick up the mess me and F/N made in the living room. When I was all done, I saw F/N with my phone in her hand walking down the stairs.

"Y/N, remember last night when you said that you would call Ace?" I nodded. "Well, you're going to do it right now, and ask him if he has any time for a date with you today." I looked at her with a not impressed face.

"Really, F/N? I don't want to do this." I refused.

She looked at me and shook her head, grabbing my hand and sitting us down on my couch. As she grabbed Ace's phone number, and started dialing his number, "I'm not letting you go anywhere until you do this." She got up and pressed the phone number, and then put the phone next to my ear, expecting me to actually do this.

I shook my head, showing her that I disagree with what she wants me to do, "I'm not doing this."

But all she did was nod her head, "Yes, you are. You're not going to be alone for the rest of your life. You know that I'm not always going to be here, especially with my boss making me stay, and Jade I need to love him, too. I know I'm your best friend, and that I should always be here with you, but wouldn't you like someone to cuddle with and have dates with, and all that romantic stuff with someone you love as a boyfriend. Trust me, Y/N, I'm doing what's right for you." She said with a sweet but serious face.

All I did was sigh, knowing that she was right, but I wanted to object with what she was saying when Ace answered.

"Hello? Who is this?" I melted at the spot for some reason when I heard his voice, but I had to answer him, so I gathered up all the courage I had to answer him.

"Hey, Ace. It's me Y/N. Sorry if I interrupted anything." I heard some shuffling noises in the background. "Are you okay? Is this a bad time to call you? I mean if it is I ca-" I got interrupted by him.

"Oh Y/N," I heard him (nervously) giggle. "No, it isn't a bad time to call. I was just uh.. chilling." He sounded like he was unsure about what he was doing.

"Uh, so... what do I get the honor of a beautiful woman like you to call me?" I chuckled at his choice of flirting words.

"Are you trying to flirt with me? Through the phone, too?" I asked.

"Is it a bad thing to do that?" He asked.

"No, but I'm doing good, and how are you today?"

"Fine, so what did you call me for?" He asked.

"Well, I was going to ask if you were free today, are you?" I asked.

"I am actually, why?"

"I wanted to see if you wanted to go to the froyo place." I answered his question.

"Really?" He seemed like he was happy that I asked him.

"Yeah, I have nothing to do, and I wanted to get to know you." I said speaking from what I actually wanted to do.

"Yes! I mean sure, what time?"

"Uh, what about 3 PM at Freezy Froyo?" I asked him.

"Okay, should I pick you up, or are we going to meet there?"

"Umm, what about we meet there, instead." I told him.

"Okay, see you then, Y/N!" He sounded excited.

"Bye, Ace!" I ended the call, and felt so happy about it. I need to calm down, I mean I just met him yesterday. I was cut off my thinking when F/N screamed.

"I swear, what did you see now?" I asked her.

She shook her head, "I'm happy that you got a date. Wait, what time is it?" She looked at my clock that hung on my wall. "1:10?! You need to hurry."

She shooed me away.
