Adam's POV:

Crack! Every move I make, a current goes rushing through my body. Burning my insides. Hearing the humming of the electric 'cube' makes me shiver. Ma'Ma's talking with James in the control room. I hear them mouth 'Daryl' a lot. What's he got to do with anything? He's probably saved his own ass already. Like he always does.

Ma-Ma presses a button, opening the door of the 'cube' inviting herself in. Normally I would be shitting myself when Ma-Ma glares at me with her piercing eyes. Forcing me to look at her stitched up face, but I have no fear left in me anymore. She's even taken that away from me.

'You never did answer my question. Why did you do it?' She gives me a 'Bitch I will kill you in your sleep' look. Something every sane person will know not to force her to give unless they wanted 5 slaps.

Seeing as I'm no longer under her rule and That I'm probably going to die, I answer her question. I never thought that I'd die as her slave. As something left for someone else to get rid off.

'Because I'm sick of it all. All the deaths. All the bodies. All your mess that I ave to clean up for you. You've killed too many,Ma-Ma. I wasn't going to let another person die because of your orders. By the end of it all, you#ll have no more 'innocent' left to kill.' I spit at her. She instantly puts her 'Bitch, Imma kill you in your sleep' look on her face. Something you shouldn't ever make her give you. For your own benefit.

'I was never going to let you kill anymore. I let them go. Because ending all those deaths means something. If I didn't, you would have no more people left to kill but your soldiers. You would have no more 'Innocent' left to kill.  You killed to many, I was never going to let you kill anymore. I would rather you kill me then 500 others.

'I would rather die as a rebel than your slave'

'You never gave a Damn about those people in your entire life. What changed?'

'Let's just say that someone removed the blindfold that you tied around me my entire life. I can see now. I'm not blind anymore.'

'You never were needed anyway. You were just there. You were always going to end up as just another body to throw in the river. To be forgotten and only be remembered as someone who got themselves killed.'

'Well, it doesn't matter anymore. I'll soon have you, that little prick and my bitch of a brother killed. You can watch them dying in front of you while you are hung there...then at the end of the day, you'll see your body floating in the river. I'll make a fool of you even when you're dead.'

What? Is she talking about Daryl? Is she going to kill him? Her own brother? Is she--

'No wonder why your parents dumped you. They saw what you would turn out to be. A helpless little shit that got himself killed...'

I want to cry. But I have no more tears left. I wasted them all when I worked for her. She's even taken away that too.

She walks outta here, confidence radiating off of her. Pretending that all the words that were spoken by me and her was just one big fat joke.

'You know, I would kill you already. But you know me. You know how much I love games!'

'Sometimes, you have to fight the battle more than once to win the game...'

She presses the bright blue 'START' button that her hand was resting on for the pass few seconds.

'And this game is about to begin...'

She presses the button.

47 hours, 59 minutes and 58 seconds until Death pays his visit...'
