Chapter 24- Last Hours Together

Arianna's POV:

      Today was my last day in Arkansas. I was very upset because I was going to be leaving my best friend. We are actually at the arcade now because she said that we need to spend the last few hours together.

   I personally liked the idea. We also ordered pizza. Right at this second Nacyla was raging because I was beating her at a racing game.

   "Mother fucker!!!! God dammit!" She yelled.

  I was trying my best not to laugh so hard where I accidentally let go of the wheel and have her beat me. After about ten more minutes of that and Nacy basically rage quitting because of getting ripped off the last lap our pizza was done.

      They placed the hot pan they served it on, on our table and gave us a few napkins. I grabbed two pieces and put them on my paper plate. Nacy did the same.

    I bit into the nice hot and cheesy pizza that had a bit of spice from the pepperoni. I savored every bit since it was the last pizza I was probably going to share with my best friend.

    "You better freaking FaceTime me everyday and text me" Nacy said after swallowing a bite of pizza.

   "I will I will" I laugh.

   "Oh I have something to give you" Nacy said setting down her half eaten pizza.

   She reached into her pocket and puller out a chain in a half of heart on it. She pulled out a second on out of her other pocket. She placed them in front of me facing upwards and put them together forming the words 'Best Friends'.  I placed a hand on my mouth.

    "Pick a side" She said simply.

   I reached out and grabbed the one that had the word 'best' on it. I put it on by myself from a trick Nacy taught me. Nacy put the other half on.

  "Now you have something to remember me by and the other way around" She smiled.

   "Thankyou so much" I said with tears in my eyes.

    I got up and went over too hug her. We stayed there for a few moments before I got a text from my mom.

Mama💙: We need too leave soon

Me: Okay...

     "We gotta go I have to leave soon" I said putting my head down.

   Nacy just sighed and nodded. We left the 2 slices of pizza there and walked home.

     I stood at the passenger door of the moving van. Looking at Nacy as tears came out of her eyes but she kept a weak smile.

  "Call me when you get to a hotel" She said.

   "I will". I hugged her one last time before getting in the van. I waved goodbye all the way until I couldn't see her anymore. I sighed and looked out the window watching the scenery go by quickly.

So this was a re-post since wattpad was being dumb and decided to make it disappear. But anyways I'll try to get chapter 25 out as soon as possible. Probably not today but tomorrow. Anyways guys make sure to,
