Her Memories // E.D

"What?"

*Brookes POV*

"Ow" I said as I sat up and put my hand on my head. I had a huge headache and a finger pulse clip on, but I don't know why.

I then looked at my surroundings and realized I was in the hospital.

Why am I here? What's going on?

My thoughts were quickly  interrupted when my mom, Dad, Grayson and... this other boy walked in.

"Oh honey you're ok!" My nom said as she ran over to me and hugged me. She had tears in her eyes. Why?

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be? I asked so confused.

"Brooke do you not remem-" Grayson was asking before he was cut off by a doctor who came in.

" no son unfortunately she doesn't. You see when Brooke was in the accident she bruised the part of her brain that holds her memory." The doctor said.

I was in an accident? When? How? What happened?

"I'm doctor Clifford I'll be Brooke's doctor while she's here." He said with a smile and shook my parents hands.

"Excuse me doc, but will she ever get her memory back?" That one boy asked. He looked so worried.

Why? Who is he?

"Well hopefully with the help of her friends and her family she will. Little or small things could wake up her memory and bring it back. When it does come back it'll feel like she's having a headache so I would recommend having her lay down." He said smiling.

"So she will for shore get her memory back? I mean she already remembers us so she must get the rest of it back right?"My Dad asked concerned.

"Well we would hope. Brooke has a 70% chance of getting it back. If she doesn't then you will just have to re-teach her what she forgot" He said with a sympathetic smile and then left.

I could never remember certain things? Why does that scare me?

"Honey what do you remember?" My mom asked me.

"Well I remembered you guys, and I know who I am and how old I am and my birthday, you know stuff like that." I said.

"Do you know they are?" My Dad asked while pointing at the boys.

*Ethans POV*

"Of course I do" she said smiling. "That's Grayson and.... I don't know who he is"

It was me. She didn't know who I was. Me.

"That's Ethan, Grayson's twin brother, they've been your best friends since you guys were kids." Her Dad told her.

"Oh.. I'm sorry I don't remember you." She said giving me an apologetic smile.

My heart broke.

*Grayson's POV*

I know E was hurt. He was so in love with Brooke it was ridiculous. We've always had a thing for her but E's thing for her was much bigger than mine.

What if she only remembers you because you were the last person she saw? What if she remembers the crash? This won't end good.

All my thoughts were interrupted when E grabbed my shoulder signaling me to follow him outside with Mr. Cassedy.

"Boys listen Me and Mrs. C are going to need you guys to help us with Brooke. You guys are her best friends and you two know everything about her so please help us, help her remember everything. Especially at school, help her remember her other friends and her classes. Please boys." He said. He looked so sad you could just tell.

"Of course Mr. C, me and E will do everything to help Brooke" I said with a reassuring smile.

He smiled back and walked back into Brooke's hospital room. I stayed outside with E because I knew he was hurt.

"E I'm sorr-"

"She doesn't remember me... but she remembers you. Probably because you mean more to her." He said and looked at his feet the entire time. I knew he was crying and that was rare for him.

"No E she loves us both equally. I don't know why she only remembers me and I'm sorry because if I could change that I would." I said to him.

"Gray if she remembers Nick I'll be crushed." He said looking up at me with his puffy red eyes.

"I doubt she will. If she can't remember you, her best friend since EVER! She won't remember that douche" I said and pulled him into a hug.

"Gray?" He said pulling away. "If she doesn't are we going to keep it like that?" He asked

"Yes. She doesn't need to go through or know about all the pain he put her through." I said sternly.

Just the thought of Nick made me so mad. He hurt Brooke's too many times. That's never gonna happen again and I'll make sure if that.
