I don't really know at this point XD I have this OC and I really like Gaara, and I had a super cute idea for an adorable story for them. So I wrote one. Okay!? Sheesh, such demanding people! Tsk tsk!
Fanfic! My cute idea in action!
Koneko ran through the forest, throwing knives as she passed her placed targets. She glared as she accidentally missed the last one, skidding to a stop and throwing three knives. The knives whistled from her speed and hit the target directly, one going almost all the way through it. She grinned and continued running, her feet silent compared to her pounding heart and sweaty hands. She wiped her hands on her shorts and climbed up a tree, jumping from tree to tree while grabbing the knives and stuffing them in her belt.
"G-Gaara!" She gasped as she kept to the last tree and jumped down, almost crashing into the flame color haired man.
"You're late for training, we're all waiting," Gaara said casually, leaning against the tree. "You should hurry and get the rest of the knives."
"But I-" Koneko then hung her head and nodded. "Okay."
She slowly trudged over to the very last tree, climbing up and grabbing the last knife. "Here."
Koneko threw down the knife, the blade going straight next to Gaara's head and onto the trunk.
"What are you, trying to kill me?" He grumbled grumpily and yanked out the knife.
Koneko covered her giggle by using her hand and covering her mouth. She smiled and jumped down, accidentally knocking over Gaara with her. She snickered, while Gaara gave her a blank stare. He stood up, brushing off his knees and offering his hand.
"T-Thanks Gaara, sorry 'bout that." Koneko whimpered, accepting his hand.
He pulled her up and let go of her hand. Her hands are really soft, He thought, glancing at her who was a scarlet mess.
"Come on," Gaara said, drawing a breath and shaking his head.
Koneko nodded yes and they both walked back into the town, heading to the training area.

"Yes, Sensei." I nodded, turning to our group of four.
I was a late arrival because I came later to the academy before. Sensei had just assigned us to partners for our mission, Gaara with me and Tamari with Kankurō.
"Tamari, Sensei said you and Kankurō have to go help the people over to the east in any way they ask. As long as they don't ask for you to go outside too far." I instructed, Tamari nodding and running down the road with Kankurō.
"And we have to go west. Ready?" I said, turning to Gaara.
"It's only for some day. So yeah." He said sarcastically, looking down at me.
"Ah, yes." I smiled awkwardly at my 'mistake'. "Shall we?"
He nodded. We set off and walked out to the west side of the village. I looked around and knocked on the door of a big restaurant. Gaara nodded at my decision. The chef answered the door and requested to me that I went to get water from the river, and handed Gaara three buckets. We accepted and left down the trail leading down to the river.
"Pretty simple. I was expecting something like catching a thief and so on." I said.
Gaara nodded in response. I slipped my boots and socks off, grabbing the biggest bucket and walking into the icy water. I drew in a sharp breath and went a little deeper, sinking the bucket under. I gripped the sides firmly and heaved up. I suddenly felt less weight from the bucket and a shadow above me. In shock, I let go and stumbled backward, tumbling into the water. Gaara, the shadow that had scared me, ran over to me and pulled me out. I shivered and trembled, putting my hands on his shoulders and set my feet down. The water was up to my knees, but I was soaked.
"T-Thanks Gaara," I mumbled, my face flushing in embarrassment.
"C'mon," Gaara said, picking me up by the waist and carrying me out of the water.
"G-Gaara!" I stuttered, my cheeks heating up.
He walked out of the water and set me down in the grass. I looked up at him with a shocked expression as he took off his jacket. I felt my face go scarlet as I realized he had no shirt underneath. He laid the jacket around my shoulders, and he wiped the water trickling down my face with his thumb.
"T-Th-an-ks!" I stuttered in shock and surprise, hanging my head and not wanting him to see my blushing face.
"Mhm." He grunted, rubbing his head and retrieving the bucket from the water.
He carried it back over to me and set it down. He's doing the job by himself. He must be exhausted! I thought, looking at him warmly. How nice! Wait. Gaara being nice!? I looked at his back and blushed.
"A-Aren't you cold?" I asked Gaara as a gust of wind blew through my white-blonde hair.
"No." He said, but I could see him shivering from the wind.
"Then at least use your jacket," I said standing up and shuffling over to him.
"No. You're using it. Besides, I have something else to keep me warm." Gaara replied, setting down the last filled bucket.
"Where?" I said, glancing around in confusion.
"You."
"Huh? Gaara, what-Ah!" I gasped in surprise, as Gaara pulled me up and into and tightly embraced me.
"I told you, you are what makes me warm." Gaara purred into my ear.
My face went scarlet for the millionth time that day. I shut my eyes tightly, pinching myself. This must be a dream! Gaara is never like this to anyone! I thought, then my eyes flew open as I pinched myself. Nothing happened! This is real! Oh my goodness, what do I say!?
"I-I m-mean u-uh, w-wh-we-ll-" My eyes widened as Gaara placed a finger to my lips, shushing me.
He grabbed my chin, bringing my face towards his. I realized how much I wanted that since the day I had met Gaara. My eyes closed as I felt his lips on mine.
(Chu~!!!!! This was so fun and cute to write!!!)
