Chapter 2

June,4th
I was too sick to write yesterday. It was definently one of my bad days. Anyways..hmm what to write about? Wait! who's that. A tall thin guy with black shaggy hair that falls just in the right places and green eyes that glitter in the light, stands in the entrance to my room, clipboard in hand just staring at me. I look down at myself. Why is he staring at me? "Is there something on my gown, or my hair is it.." Oh my goodness did I just say that out loud! I quickly reach for my now short hair that falls just below my chin. It feels like it's suitable enough, then why is he staring at me? He lets out a chuckle. I glare at him, into those eyes that, well seem so lively compared to mine. "What on earth is so funny?" I ask clearly annoyed. "Nothing it's just you're cute when you are embarrassed." "Embarrassed? "I'll have you know..." Before I could even finish my sentence my doctor, Dr.Shizernts walks into the room and begins to badger the guy standing in the entrance. Dr.Shizernts asks the guy, whose name is apparently Tom, to step outside of the room with him. Tom gently closes the door and I can hear them frantically whispering. "Tom!" "You're a nurse intern, you are here to learn, I will not tolerate you disturbing any of this clinics patients. Understand?" There is a long silence then I hear Tom perk up with that voice that is just deep enough. "Dr.Shizernts, I apologize it won't happen again." "Good now go give Scarlett her pills like you were supposed to do in the first place," Dr.Shizernts says. Oh no I hear footsteps, the doorknobs turning. I quickly grab the tv remote and turn on the tv, pretending like I wasn't listening. Tom walks in and apologizes I giggle, take my pills he's handed me and look back to the screen. Tom says suddenly, "Didn't strike me as the Bananas in Pyjamas fan." I turn to the tv now really focusing on what's on the screen and in horror I realize the Disney jr. Channel on. Oh my goodness Teah must've turned it to that channel when she came to visit. "Well that's embarrassing." I say with a sigh. Tom chuckles which makes me giggle a little and as he begins to walk to the door, turns around quickly to say "see you tomorrow." Pause. "Scar." He smiles and I notice he has a little gap between his two front teeth that makes his smile look kind of adorable. Suddenly I finally realize what he just called me "Scar?" Ugh "It's Scarlett I accidentally yell too loud. With a wave of his hand he turns the corner. ~Scarlett ❤️
