Hellooooo my peoples! If you ship Philidosia, then you're in luck cuz here is a new story based on a dream that I had a while ago. If you haven't read my main story that I'm working on, just go to my profile and read "The Story of Tonight!" Thank you my wonderful pomegranates for reading my trash.
Now onto the story.
"Are you ready to try again?" My mommy asks. "I think I'm ready." I reply. Haha see what I did there? In The Heights!
"Okay... one." She says "Un!" I answer speedy quick.
"Two." "Deux."
"Three." "Trios."
"Four." "Quatre."
"Five." "Cinq"
"Six." "Six."
"Seven." "Se...
We are interrupted by the creaking of our front door opening, and a loudish hollering voice. "Who's ready?!" My daddy shouted.
"Yay! I am daddy!" I call back. My daddy pulls me into a hug. "Wow! You've grown since this morning!" He exclaims. "How old are you? Ten?" "I'm still six daddy!" I laugh. "Well are you ready Theo?" He asks me. "Yeah!" I squeal real squeaky with excitement. "Well come on then, the carriage is waiting for us outside."
I ran outside and hopped into the carriage as fastest as I could, and I hopped in there real quick. "Come on, slow poke!" I yell. My daddy laughs and hops in after me.
"Can you tell me a story, daddy?" I ask really hopeful. "How about a song?" He asks. I nod.
Dear Theodosia, what to say to you?
You have my eyes
You have your mother's name
When you came into the world you cried, and it broke my heart.
I'm dedicating every day to you
Domestic life was never quite my stile
When you smile, you knock me out, I fall apparently
And I thought I was so smart.
You will come of age with our young nation
We'll bleed and fight for you
We'll make it right for you
If we lay a strong enough foundation
We'll pass it on to you
We'll give the world to you
And you'll blow us all away
Someday, someday
Yeah, you'll blow us all away
Someday, someday.
"That's a pretty song!" I exlaim. "Why thank you!" He says. "Is there more?" I ask. "I need some time to think," He says, "but that's what I got so far." "I love it!" I laugh. "How bout you write the rest. Make up a second part." "Okay!" I reply.
"Is this your stop, Mister?" The driver asks. "Yes, thank you very much." My daddy says as we get off. I look over at the building in front of us. It is the biggest building in the whole wide world that I've ever seen! "You ready Theo?" My daddy asks. I gulp and nod real nervous. "I guess so."
