Kallie Jones.

Flickering my eyes open, my head immediately pounded, like I had hit it hard against something. I squeezed my eyes shut, groaning as I sat up, bringing my hand up to the side of my head. As I pulled it away, I was thankful I wasn't bleeding.

Something slammed against the side of the wall, making me jump. My head whipped towards the small, square window behind me. Clear blue waves once again crashed into the side. I turned my head, scanning the room, then it hit me.

The Captain's Quarters. On my dad's ship- The Jolly Roger.

I shifted close to the edge of the bed, my legs hanging over the side. My eyebrows narrowed confused. How did I get here? The last thing I remembered was seeing the worried looks of my parents... as I flew away?

Flying? No. That's impossible. No human could fly.

Was yesterday a dream?

A loud bang from the ship's deck startled me, pulling me out of my thoughts. I jumped to my feed and raced over to the ladder, that led by to the main deck. I climbed it and tried to get the floorboard open, but it wouldn't.

"Hello!" I called out, hoping someone would hear me. "Is anyone there!"

No response.

My heart skipped a beat inside my chest. I quickly remembered everything that happened today and who was behind my kidnapping.

"Felix." I mumbled under my breath. But why? I only met him today.

The sound of footsteps coming onto the deck above made me jump. I looked up at the ceiling and listened for his voice. Well, a voice in general.

But there were no voices.

Instead, the floorboard opened. I quickly moved back toward the desk against the wall. My eyes watched as Felix came down and turned around to me. I stared at him for a moment, unsure of what he wanted.

"Your presence is requested on the island." He spoke. Instantly after he said that I knew I was far from home. "He's very eager to meet you." He added.

"Who?" I questioned for probably the fourth time. Felix still didn't answer with a name but smirked at me for a moment before strolling toward me. I gripped my hands onto the edge of the table. As he came closer, I whipped my head behind me to see if there was anything I could use to defend myself. Before he got too close, I grabbed the metal candle holder and whacked him in the head.

As soon as he stumbled out of the way, groaning in pain, I ran as fast as I could towards the ladder and climbed up. Pushing myself up, onto the main deck, I looked back to make sure he wasn't coming after me. He stood at the bottom of the ladder, glaring up at me. I tensed up and turned on my heels, ready to run off the ship to dive into the water, but I didn't get a chance to do either.

I gasped, being stopped by four or five boys surrounding me with what looked like hunting spears.  All of them looked older than me, probably around Felix's age. They all dressed in similar forest green colors like Felix too.

They were part of whatever this was.

My eyes looked around, trying to find any other way to escape, but there wasn't. I was trapped.

"I see you met the lost boys." Felix said behind me, making me turn to him. He stepped onto the main deck from the ladder and stood there for a moment. "They're your welcoming party." His eyes glued into mine before gesturing toward the island. "Welcome to Neverland." He grinned. I looked over to the massive island beside the Jolly Roger.

I had never heard of this place before. What kind of place was called Neverland?

"Wh- Why am I here?" I stuttered my words as I looked back at him, pretending the other boys weren't there.
