"Jadhiel! Jadhiel!! Come on! I haven't got all day you know!"

Who was shouting? I turned over to my side away from the source trying to get the sleeping time that I wasted back.

"Lemme alone."

"No, Missy." The voice said to me. I felt a pair of strong hands tuck underneath my frame and carry me up bridal style out of the car. At this point I was way too tired from the ride that I didn't bother to open my eyes to check who it was. "Well, I guess am going to carry your lazy ass to bed anyways."

The resin adjusted his hands and made his hold firmer around my torso. He heaved and slammed the car door shut with his foot.

"Mr Alavi, you can go to bed now. I booked you down the room just down the hall erh room 201 if you need anything mine is 220. Good night."

What about my own room? I hope I'm not sharing a room with Ziba! That's way too far! I shared the backseat of the car through the day and now we are sharing a room? But is he not your husband to be? the both of you should share the bed. All the things his father is doing for your family. Is not like his going to rape you or forcibly kiss and molest you. The annoyingly sensible voice in my head spoke.

"Thank you Sir, I really appreciate it. Sir, do you need any help with the lady before I retire for the night?" The Alavi guy offered.

"Emm...well you could just help with door."

"Okay,sir."

I heard a bunch of keys jingle and be passed to Mr Alavi.

"Alavi, come with me."

We or rather Ziba started walking towards to hotel room. The temperature changed all of a sudden, where are we? Why did the air temperature change so quickly. All the sleep in my eyes disappeared long ago now I was just pretending and was determined to keep it that way. We keep on walking for a while. I wonder what people thought as they passed our little clique. 'Why is he carrying her like that? Is she died or did she faint?' Ha! Fat chance of that happening! 'Or maybe she fell asleep and he is her husband!' Haha! Ew! Another fat chance.

"Paul can you scan the card over the door handle?" Ziba asked.

Wait which card? I thought they used just plain old keys to open the door! What a weird place this hotel. Have I got a lot to tell Farida, she going to be blown off her socks. The room was even colder than the hallway! How was this even possible?

Ziba carried me in, ruffled over some material I was guessing was the duvet and gently put me down like I was a piece of delicate china. The bed felt heavenly divine! Who knew a bed could be this soft and cosy. The bed I had back home was bumpy and full of holes from age. Oh! I want to stay here forever and ever.

"Shit! Alavi, the boxes I forgot can you get them? Both mine and hers." Ziba literally commanded his driver.

"Yes Sir."

I felt the duvet cover my entire body. Finally, warmth this sudden cold baffled me.Ziba tucked in the sides and I suppressed the desire to sigh in pure delight. Then he came close, so close I could feel his breathe fan on my face. I tried as much as possible not to show any facial movements particularly fear or disgust. If I did my whole facade would be completely ruined.

“You know, even though you annoy me so such I feel like pulling out my hair. You are, honest to God the most beautiful human being I have ever come across.” He whispered into my ear.

What? Hold the phone! Backtrack a little bit! He said what now?

“In fact, I-” he was cut short by a voice.
