"Oh Thank you Ryan. I don't know what I'll ever you without your help" Thanked Mrs.McAlester as I helped her with her groceries

I just smiled to her "Oh its no problem Mrs.McAlester, I enjoy helping you" I replied as I placed the bags on the kitchen table.

"Oh your so sweet Ryan" she compliment me as she pulled out a fifty dollar bill "here Ryan, this is a little tip for helping me" .

I immediately regected her money "oh its no problem Mrs.McAlester, you don't need to give me money" I pleaded as I like to help her without pay.

"Nonsense boy here" she demanded as he shoved the fifty dollar bill into my hands without any warning. "Anyways Ryan, I'll see you later. Im having the triplets over and I'm certain your coming over?!" She asked sweetly.

I chuckled as she already knew the answer "Yes, I will come Mrs.McAlester" I giggled like a Little kid.

"Oh thank you Ryan"she thanked me as she pulled me into a tight hug which I gladly accepted. She pulled back and gave me a kiss in my forehead like a caring mother. She waved goodbye "Bye Ryan" she smiled as she closed her apartment door.

I sighed contently as Mrs.McAlester always made me feel wanted, like a mother to me.

I then walked back to my appointment which was not that far from Mrs.McAlester. I got my keys out and unlocked the door to get in. I closed the door and sighed happily as I looked at the clock and saw that I have an hour until my job starts.

I work in the local music shop/cafe, it was a simple job for a 22 year old with no friends and no college diploma but eh it's fine.

I got out some chips and sat down on the dirty and broken sofa that I was too broke to replace. The TV talked about a batch of aliens being found illegally here and being send back to their home planet, which made me sad. Why can't we just accept them?

Oh right.

People are scared at what they don't understand.

I shook that taught of my head and glanced at the clock again, seeing that I have thirty minutes to get to work.

Wasting no time, I get up and go to the bathroom to make myself look less like a mess. I comb my bright blue hair in my typical style and wash my face with cold water. Thinking that was good enough even although it wasn't I grab my bag and pair of keys, quickly turning off the TV before I forget as I lock and  close the door ready to head of to work.

I walk to work as it's really close by but get greeted by the strangers outside by their usual insults.
"Oh look another alien"
"Go back to your home planet you freak"
"Look at It's blue hair"

I just casually ignore the h8rs, its not that its hurtful its just that I don't care and dont get sad by there insults.

I'm not even an alien, their just making inferences by my bright blue hair. You can get your hair dyed but colored hair is a common trait around aliens, which I didn't care and got it dyed anyways.

Other than the usual insults my day is pretty fine. I get to work with only 20 minutes to spare and get greeted by one of my friends Brendon.

Brendon is one of those crazy and loony people you have to watch out for cause they cause trouble yet he's still such a lovable person and such a sweetheart to anybody.

"Yo Ry" he greets me happily as I walk inside the music cafe, or The Regects Club as we call it.

Brendon is dressed in his usual attire, black skinny jeans, band T-shirt, scruffy shoes and a huge forehead.
