This is what I believe to be true. There is always a story to be told, another side to the coin, and a reason why. Everyone has a story. No matter what you  would like to believe everyone has a story and a reason why they do things. So, next time you think poorly of someone ask yourself this… “Why would blank do this or what caused blank to act blank/” Because if you just take a second and think of all the reasons why, you might realise they had a reason all along and you just didn’t realise it. One of the most powerful things ever asked and said to me was from an elderly person I was playing chess with while I was doing school community services hours. They asked me once we started playing “ What’s your story?” Three simple words and I had no clue what to say. Just three simplistic words had stumped my mind. So I told him my story. The story of me. A story that hopefully wont end soon yet has gone on for a long time. After I finished telling my story I asked back “ Well whats yours?” And they told me. Just like that two complete strangers can get to know each other by asking three simple words. With the power of those three words, I have talked to some amazing people and got to know them quite well. Nowadays with the facade of a social generations, it is a new feeling of curiosity, of instead of saying things that only relate to me, myself, and I, Its a new feeling of just sitting back and enjoying a story. Everything needs to move fast to catch up but it was nice to stop and listen to this tale.
