Chapter 5: Nostalgia

I merely snorted at Ed's way of explaining his report infront detailedly though goofily, which ignited a bomb of giggles inside the classroom. I can notice his flustered face whenever he's making jokes about science and while he's infront of something he's uncomfortable with. Always. And yes, he's more like an ambivert.

An incredibly genius ambivert though.

It's been 20 minutes since the start of our Physics class. I whipped my hair into a bun distractingly as I face outside the window beside me, I promptly turned to the reporter after hearing clanks of my teacher's pointed heels, causing Ed and the others to immediately stitch their mouths quiet for recognition.

"May I bother you for a moment, Mr. Ablos? I have a special announcement." Mrs. Mina kicked the back of her red shoes with her other, straightening her posture in confidence before eyeing the whole class.

"Everyone, please welcome Ms. Cumarat, Juliette, your new classmate." Mrs. Mina turned to her as if giving her the look of 'go on and give an automatic introduction'

"Given the information, I suppose you know her already for she's your regular schoolmate. She just got transferred in your class for the reason that her GWA's excelling immensely. Technically she has the same average as Micah's this semester." Mrs. Mina added before looking at Micah's location.

"You might want to be careful with that scholarship Ms. Micah." She blantaly warned in closure.

Upon hearing the news, the whole section muted for awhile with the impact while staring at the dark browned-haired female with professedly simple Asian features, her smile didn't quite catch the attention of most students for half of her face was covered with her straight hair. The students started mumbling in curiousity.

"Greetings to all, i'm Juliette. I hope we all can get along." Shy type of a girl she is, I can tell that our new classmate is an Introvert and little did I know, I usually get excited whenever there's a new student though after hearing the brief details about her, my curiousity elevated to mars.

After introducing some basic details about her and some small conversations, my teacher assigned a seat for her significantly right beside me. How thoughtful of mistress, I guess i'll encounter a new gal on my sleeves today.

While the class was once again caught up by Ed's seemingly knowledgeable rants, I sneakily leaned my chair close to Juliette's quietly then quickly sending her a quick 'psst', also a welcoming tap on the shoulder.

"O-oh, Hello there." Juliette got startled by Micah's sudden actions before handing out a small anxious smile. She didn't quite catch the thought of having someone confronting her on her first day in that class.

"Aahh, Don't be nervous around me. I'm beautiful, smart and kind so you don't have to worry about anything. My name is Micah by the way." Micah teasingly covers the unnecessary atmosphere as an apology with the friendliest tone and genuinely I offered a hand.

"Nice to meet you, Micah." The dark-browned haired girl responded as she let out a comfortable and fond chuckle, accepting the handshake.

Well, that was quick and easy as I thought it would be. I'm so great with strangers.

Micah chuckled narcissistically.

The class is almost finished, the ticking of the clock is what everyone's impatiently looking forward to. Which led Ed with a long sigh while waiting for the rest of the students finish their given activity. He was equally not contented with his report for he noticed that Micah's 101% not paying attention to her boyfriend's 'hard-work and dedication'.
