Hey guys!Sorry for not updating lately:(Actually I was supposed to update yesterday but Wattpad deleted this chapter so I had to re-write the whole freaking thing. Moving on, Melissa will still be helping me with my book but not as much as before because she is also working on a new book that will be based on magcon boys and I suggest you guys read it when she publishes it. I'm busy with school and stuff.I'm trying to find time and make all the chapters longer so please be patient with me.

Katniss's P.O.V

*RING* *RING* *RING*

"Who would call me at this hour?"I glanced at the clock that showed 8.30 am.

An unknown number lights up on my phone screen.

"Hello"I said with a calm tone

"KATNISS DOWELL,WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU FOR THE PAST YEAR."

"Who are-"

"I'M YOUR MOTHER YOU UNFAITFUL CHILD!HOW COULD EVEN NOT KNOW YOUR OWN MOTHER'S VOICE?!"

'How did know my number?!And you can't call yourself a mother when you can't take care of your own child."

'Katniss,sometimes I don't even think you are my daughter.How can I have such a brainless daughter?At least Sebastian is such a smart boy."

"You never answer my question.HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER?"I shouted in the phone.My blood was now starting to boil from all the anger and hatred that's building up in me.How could she call me brainless?Sometimes I also had this thought that I'm not her daughter too.How I wish I was not born as her child.

"Well.. I have people around who can give me small little details about you and if you don't come back home within the next month, I will go there myself and drag you back."

"SCREW YOU! You were never a good mother and even you said it yourself, you didn't even think of me as your daughter and to you I'm the brainless child so stop trying to look for me. Go live your damned life as a rich person and leave me alone. I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU AND YOUR LIFE, INCLUDING DAD. THE ONLY PERSON IN THE HOUSE THAT APPRECIATES ME IS SEBASTIAN."

I quickly ended the call and threw my phone across the room and it shattered into a million pieces. I groaned and stomped over to see how damaged it was.

I slid down the wall and held my head in my hands and started to sob. Nobody in my family wanted anything to do with me. I would take Sebastian if he was older and actually knew the whole situation at home. Why would anyone even do this to me?

When I calmed down, I could only think of one thing... I went done to the reception counter and asked whether I could use the phone to make a call. I punched Caitlyn's number on the phone and waited for someone to answer the phone.

"Hello. Caitlyn here."

"Hey Caitlyn, Katniss here. The girl that met up with you in the coffee shop regarding the job offer?"

"Ohh yeah. Hey I remember you. Why did you call my at this hour?"

"I'm really sorry to bother you but if you don't mind, could you please come by my hotel now. I really need to speak to you."

"Oh yeah sure. I'll drop by when I finish my shift. Would you like to come by the coffee shop and get a cup of coffee?"she said and continue"To you know coffee sometimes could clear up your mind if something is bothering you"

"Yeah sure. Give me 5 minutes and I'll be on my way."

I thanked the kind receptionist for letting me use the phone and I went to the lift and clicked the button leading to my floor number. It was a quiet and peaceful lift ride as nobody came in the lift.

I quickly went to the washroom and took a quick shower and put on some eyeliner and chapstick(We don't know anything about make-up XD)I'm not in the mood to put on much make-up.

After that,I went out of the hotel and walked across the street.The coffee shop is just opposite of the hotel.

I enter the coffee shop and saw a women behind the counter with a name tag hooked onto her t-shirt with her name written on it 'Mrs Ashley'.I walked towards her and ordered a cup of caramel macchiato and a mini chocolate chip cupcake.Something about her name reminded me of something.And that hit me,she is the women that I need meet.I made a mental note to talk to her later regarding the interview on the job offer.

I went to sit on a empty chair that is at the corner of the shop.I saw Caitlyn walking towards me while carrying a tray of food."Hey Katniss!Just1 give me 10 more minutes,then we could talk."she said and walked away.

While waiting,I just look outside the glass window and watch the rain drizzle.It's so peaceful watching the rain droplets stream down the window.I plugged in my earphones that I brought with me and play 'Hallelujah' by Dj Nayron Fox.

This song remind me of my grandma that left this world when I'm only 4 years old.She always helps me when I'm in trouble with my parents,we always watch cartoon marathon 'The Adventure Time'.My childhood has it's ups and downs but I always think positive and never done anything stupid.

After what felt like hours,I felt someone tap on my shoulder and sat on the chair in front of me.It's Caitlyn and my cup of caramel macchiato and the mini chocolate chip were on the table already.When did the food arrived?How did I not know?Wow!I must be really in a deep thought.

"Hey!Sorry that you had to wait.I work for half-day shift today.So what do you want to talk about?"Caitlyn said

"It's okay."I said and took a sip of my caramel macchiato."I have to tell you something about my past before flying here to London."

Caitlyn's P.O.V

Woah!Katniss's past was 'interesting'.I had never thought that she had been through such a horrible past.I always thought she was a daddy's little girl and had a lovely family,not this!

I feel kind of sympathy for her and lucky knowing that my family doesn't treat me like Katniss even though I have a younger brother that's annoying but I still love him.

Suddenly Katniss spoke up"You don't have to pity me.I'm already used to it."

I grab her hand and said "You're the strongest women that I ever know in my life.And remember not to do anything stupid.There's plenty of things you could do without your parents's support.You could also tell me anything that's bothering you.I will try to help you in any situation as long as you tell me.Okay?Please promise me."

"Okay,I promised."she sighed "I'm glad to have a good friend like you."and put her other hand on top of our hand.
