I woke up as the sun was beaming through the curtains

I was going to get ready for school today but I thought for a second

"Maybe if I stay home I could talk to Millie's brother and see if she told me the truth" I mumbled to myself

I quickly got out of bed and threw my shoes on

I ran down stairs and opened the door

I didn't want to go to Millie's house right away because I knew she would still be there

Screw it, Millie is always early to school so I would be surprised if she wasn't

I walk up to Millie's door step and ring the door bell

I nervously wait for someone to open the door

After about 10 seconds sure enough her brother opens the door

My heart drops

"hi um I'm Finn um Millie's boyfriend" I proudly say hoping I wouldn't get my ass beat

He looks at me up and down

"Really? i wouldn't expect Millie's type would be boys like you" he says

I force a smile on my face even though I found the comment extremely rude

"Come in" he says then moves out the way

I look around her house

"Nice house man" I say even though I have seen it before

"Thanks" he says "so what brings you here?" he asks

"um I just have a quick question, is Millie allowed to date?" I ask

"When you were at the door and said "boyfriend" you're lucky I didn't beat your ass because she is allowed to date, besides she's 17 she's not my little baby anymore" he said

I shake my head because she lied to me

"right" I say

"Why man? she dump you or something?" he asks

I look down and shut my eyes

"yeah" I say then look back at him

"hey don't take it to hard man I'm sure there was a reason"

'Maybe there was a reason'

But what!?

"your right man, thanks um I have to get to school" I say

"yeah no problem" he says

I walk out her house and start walking to school

When I got to school I walk in to study hall

I saw Millie with Simon, when I saw them I rolled my eyes and walked out
