            Green's POV
"The Dread Doctors," I read from the book Malia gave me to look at.
"That's exactly how those men looked. I read it and it didn't make any sense to me. Stiles can't find anything on the author."
I put the book in my bag. "I'll look into it during lunch," I tell her. She nods, releasing a deep breath.
"How're you feeling? I thought it was weird they were letting you out so soon," she says. I lean against my locker with my arms crossed over my chest.
"A little better. The pain meds hardly help, but I'm praying the pain leaves soon. I mean, its bearable, I would just rather there be none."

I close the book and look blankly in front of me at the shoves of book. The Dread Doctors were a group of scientists who experimented on people to make a new being. Sounds familiar.
"Hey," a voice says from behind me, making me grab the book and place it on my lap so no one can see it. Theo sits down in front of me, smiling a little. He always smells so damn good. "How you feeling today?" He asks...just like everyone else.
"Just like I've said time and time again today, I feel fine for now," I tell him. He tales his backpacks off and sets it beside the chair.
"For now? What does that mean?"
"The pain meds only work for so long and even they don't take it all away," I tell him. He nods, looking down at his hands. "I-I never thanked you for technically saving my life and getting me to the hospital. I'd probably be dead right now. So, thank you."
"The pleasures all mine. Although, you do own me a new white shirt," he jokes, flashing me a grin. His teeth are even perfect. "So you're apart of the pack?" He asks.
"Kind of. This was the only thing I've been involved in and that's not only because I just got back here. Derek, he doesn't want me doing anything that could get me hurt. Its better to just listen than to argue," I say. His brows draw together.
"For the record, your badass for doing the things you do, knowing you could die. He should see that."

                  Theo's POV
"I'm sorry, but I've only heard of a chimera until the other day. Do you want to read this?" I ask Scott, handing him all the stuff I found online.
"No, its fine. I'm on chapter two. We tried looking into the author, but it was pretty much a dead end," he tells me. I flip through the pages, getting to the last one. "What about this guy?"
"Dedicated to doctor Gabriel valic," he reads. I raise my brows.
"You know him or something?" I ask. He nods.
"Yeah, and I know where to find him." I nod, taking it and putting it back in my backpack. The bell rings. I turn to walk away but he calls out my name. "Are you going to the dance?" He asks.
"I don't know yet. I might see you there."

I open the door to the lab and sprint down the stairs. The Doctors come into view. "The book worked. They're going to Valic. Tonight."

              Green's POV
I close the door to the loft and set my bag down, removing my jacket. Derek turns around at the sounds and smiles at me. I walk over and give him a quick kiss. Thankfully he doesn't ask how I feel, sense he kind of feel it himself.
"So tonight is the dance and you said you'd think about-"
"I don't think it's a good idea for me to go. No one will believe that I'm your guy's age and people would probably recognize me," he says. I can't help but know he's right. "You shout go through. You haven't been able to enjoy being back with your friends since you arrived, try and do that tonight."

We all look at each other, then up at Eichen House. They've all been in there time and time again for this type of thing, me on the other hand hasn't, and I'm looking forward to being in a place full of a bunch of insane people.
"Ready?" Lydia asks. We all nod. I grab onto Stile's arm to stop my hands from shaking.
"I don't know why I'm even allowing you be here right now. We should listen to Derek. It's too dangerous," he says as we walk up the trail. I look up at him.
"Your human too. Its just as dangerous."
"But I'm not knew at this. This is the first time were up against something that can create new supernatural. This time we don't know what their capable of."
"I know I can do this. Did any of you figure out what was wrong with Tracy? No, I did," I tell him. He sighs and stops talking as we under the place. Onside looks exactly to be expected...like a prison. But I was expecting to be able to here screams from every direction.
We get to the front desk, Lydia the one doing the talking. He looks at Kira, his eyes landing on the belt. "Okease remove the belt." We all look at her, knowing that's not really a belt.
"I kind of need it. Its-"
"Remove the belt." Sighing, she takes it off and sets it on the table. Someone comes out and let's us in.
"How are we supposed to do this?" Stiles asks the man.
"Avoid looking him in the eye." We get to another door, waiting for him to open it. Scott and Kira linger in the back.
"There's mountain ash," Scott says. Scott and Kira won't be able to go in.
"Not all of you will be able to go in. Obviously," the man says. Lydia, Stiles, and I all look at each other. He opens the door. "Valic's cell is the last one at the end of the hall."
We make our way down the hall way, feeling extremely uneasy. People come up to their windows and look out. We get to end and look at him. "Tell me what you just saw," Valic says.
    "What?"
"That creature in the cell. It has the power to create the illusion of any lost soul that has become inexplicably important. Have you seen any lost souls, Mr?"
     "Yeah, well we're down here."
"Don't give up on us yet," he says. "Did you bring the book?" I take it out of my pocket and show it. "First edition. Of course there never was a second one."
"There is no T.R is there?" Lydia asks. He grins, shaking his head.
"You wrote the book," I say.
"That's right. But its not only the book, its designed to open your eyes to them. The Dread Doctors. I wrote it cause no one would listen to believe me. And there here, aren't they?"
    "What are they?"
"They were once scientists who were astonished with the supernatural...and are now not entirely human themselves. They can forget you have a soul."
"What do they want?" I ask. I can tell Stiles wants me to stop talking.
"That's a good question. Everyone wants something." He sets something, a recorder, in the small box with an opening. "Hit record."
"What do you want us to say?" Lydia asks. He shakes his head.
"I want you to scream."She picks it up and takes a deep breath. Stiles snatches it from her hands.
    "That's not happening."
"He's the only one who knows anything," she tells him. The lights start flickering violently.
"How did you cone with?" He asks in a panic.
    "Our friends," Lydia answers.
"What are they?" He demands. Stiles grabs the both of our arms.
"One of them is doing this." We loom around us. "Its not just the mountain ash that keeps the secure. It's the electro magnetic energy." He stops talking and looks around, his eyes growing wide with fear. "Their here. And your the ones who unlocked the door for them. HIT RECORD! NOW!"
    "What does the book do?"
"IT OPENS THE BRAIN. CREATING MEMORIES AND IMAGES OF THE DREAD DOCTORS! I wrote to find out if anyone else had ever seen them before."
I begin to zone out, thinking back to the surgery I had. Men in masks and scary uniforms surrounded me. "So all we have to do is read the book?" I ask.
"If you've seen them, they've done something to you. The book will help you remember. Now scream." Stiles hands the recorder to Lydia and she screams.
    "Tell what they want."
    "Time to go!"
"READ THE BOOK!" We run down the hall, coming to a stop when they come into view. Stiles pulls me to him, hugging me close. We all stay quiet. I take in a deep breath as the lights go on.
    "I think we're good now."
"This is all of our responsibility."
