Jimin

I was a surprised when his parents told me that they were going on a date, so I was being left alone with my 'student'. We talked for a little bit, they were really lovely and his father gave me sixteen dollars for the class. I blushed when Mrs. Jeon hugged me and said that she was really impressed to know that a teenager like me was so kind to help his son. I told her that I really liked give lessons, it was like a hobby. We said our goodbyes and I entered to the house.

It was big, not that really big, and comfortable. There were some pictures of the family, some of their wedding or parties. I saw a boy, he was with his mobile phone, maybe texting someone. I was taken aback when I realized how young he looked. His father told me he was a sophomore, but he looked more like a freshman to me.

He noticed my presence, so he put his mobile phone away. His hair was a dark brown, and he had some piercing on his left ear. He was wearing a red channel with black squares on it. I didn't realize we were looking at each other until I, like an awkward person I am, avoided his gaze.

—A-Are you a teacher? —he asked surprised, I must add. Normally people has the same reaction, I mean, I am younger and nobody expects me to be a 'genius'.

—Yes. —I said, trying not to make things uncomfortable for both of us, I add. —You must be Jungkook, aren't you?

—Yes, I am Jungkook.

He coughed, trying to get my attention and pointed towards the chair that was next to him. I walked, with my head down, and sat. His books were scattered on the table with a pen and a eraser. He looks really young, and for some reason I forgot how to talk. I always teach older people, senior who are lazy to take notes on class and end up failing exams, but a freshman, I didn't expect that.

—Do... you have homework? —I asked trying to get my pencil case out of my backpack. He nodded. And without my permission my mouth opened, asking a random question. —Uhm, is it okay if I ask you something?

He looked at me, and said.

—Yes, go ahead.

I gulped, feeling nervous for what I was going to say.

—Are you really a failure in Mathematics? —I mumbled, trying to hide my red cheeks.

He blushed too.

—Yeah, kind of.

The class was spent by laughs and some random comments about Jungkook's future if he ever becomes a Mathematician. Oh, yes, his name is Jungkook, or well, Jeon Jungkook. He is sixteen, which surprised me the most because, honestly, he looks like a 14-year-old. He told me that most of the time his professor tended to be really strict when it comes to homework, so I made sure he did it well.

He is not that good, but he knows basic things. We got along, he likes singing when he gets bored, I must say his voice is amazing. His favourite color is yellow and he doesn't like when people talks about themselves, he likes to know people and share his interests. His birthday is on the 1st of September and he doesn't like to celebrate it. He thinks birthdays parties are just an example of how people, who doesn't even talk to you or acknowledge you, greets you because you were born. I mean, he has a point, but birthdays parties are more than that. You make friends or get in touch with family members that you forget about. So, I made sure he knows that.

—In which school you go ? —he asked abruptly, making me jump in my seat. He laughs, and I rolled my eyes. —You are really smart, are you some kind of genius?

I blushed. Well, I don't like to explain to people what I am because it gets so awkward when I tried to make the words sound easy for them.

—Y-Yes.

—Oh.

—Uhm.

—Your IQ is...—he looked at me, and smiled. It was a shy smile.

—150.

There was a gasp, and then some mumbles. He looked really surprised, and I thought in any moment he was going to scream.

—You are kidding, like seriously...—I shocked my head, and he added. —Dude, you are like Albert Einstein!

I laughed. No, I wasn't like him.

—Don't say that. —I said blushing more.

—So, you must be popular in you school, I guess.

I gulped. School, yeah... I used to.

—I guess.

—Which one do you go to then? —Jungkook titled his head, putting all his attention to me.

—I don't go to school. —he furrowed his eyebrow, confusion was placed all over his face. I added. —I have a personal teacher, you know, it's like home-school.

—Why? —he asked, his voice was deeper.

—I really didn't like my school.

—Did they bully you, didn't they? —he tried to find my gaze, but I was trying to not cry right there. My mind was buzzing me with thoughts, lots of thoughts. The moment when everyone started to insult me or how my friends left me alone. I could tell how my breath was getting heavier. —Jimin-ssi, hey, look at me.

His hands took my arms, shaking me a little bit. I looked at him, his daze was full of worry, and when we looked at each other, I started to breathe again. His fingers draw circles on my arm, and there I felt something. My knees became weak, and I couldn't explain why. That simple touch, his closeness... I started to fell dizzy.

—I-I need to go. —I simply said, grabbing my things and putting them in my backpack.

—What? —he added, while I was getting up. —Are you okay? Do you want me to take you home?

—No, no... —my legs were trembling, with every step I gave my mind was filling me with more thoughts. With more memories. How his fingers draw circles exactly like Jungkook did, and how his hands used to grab me firmly. —Bye, Jungkook.

Before he could say anything else, I ran away of that house, of him. I could see his face, his boxy smile, his large arms that used to hold me every night, his fingers that always had a place with mines, his hair that smells like apple and his beautiful eyes, which I used to get lost in.

I really miss him, and somehow, Jungkook remind me of him.
