Your wrists were raw from struggling against the ropes tying your hands behind your back.
Your head throbbed and you felt dried blood on your face.
You sat tied to the chair in the centre of a dark, dingy room.
You weren't sure how long you'd been here now, maybe a few days. But you knew no one was coming for you. It was the Irish that had taken you and you'd tried to tell them you had nothing to do with Samcro, but they didn't believe you.
One of the men entered the room, the crack of light blinding you as your eyes adjusted from the darkness.
He held a bottle of water and he ripped the tape from your mouth, before letting you drink.
After downing half the bottle you looked up at the man.
"Look," you said, your voice cracking slightly. "I don't know what you want from me, or who you think I am, but I ain't your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."
The man smiled slightly before slapping your cheek, the force from his hand drawing blood.
"You know I'm gettin real tired of this act love." He told you as he pulled out a cellphone. "Maybe it's time to give your boyfriend a call."
Did they think you were with Happy? You laughed bitterly. Happy wasn't going to come save you, why would he? Why would he risk his life or the clubs for 'just another nameless pussy?'
The man in front of you dialed the number and held the phone infront of your face.
You stared into his eyes, your face cold.
"Yeah?"
Your heart fluttered at the sound of his raspy voice, despite the pain he'd caused you.
You said nothing as you stared at the man holding the phone.
He grabbed your hair in his hands and pressed the phone against your face.
You gulped before speaking.
"Ha-happy." You squeaked out.
The phone when silent and your heart sunk.
"What's wrong, girl? Why you calling me?"
His voice was cold and tears ran down your cheeks.
Your body trembled as the man behind you pulled your hair tighter.
"Th-the Irish Hap, they've g-got me."
Happy slammed the phone on the counter.
"Fuck!"
Jax stared as he watched Happy rub his hands over his face.
"What is it brother?" Jax asked.
Happy turned, his face filled with rage.
"The Irish have (y/n). They want money."
Jax stood, nodding as he walked closer to Happy.
"We'll get her back brother." He said as he patted Happys chest gently.
Happy nodded slowly before speaking.
"They've had her for three days. Three fucking days, and no one noticed. I didn't notice."
His body shook with anger, guilt in his eyes at the thought of you tied up with no one coming.
Jax paused slightly before turning to the clubhouse.
"Church, now!" He yelled and everyone stood, following him into the room. You thought about when you were younger, how you'd dreamed about becoming a mother, getting married to the man of your dreams, buying a big house and making a family to fill it.
You thought about every detail of the house you'd imagined. You thought about the curtains that hung from the large bay Windows. You thought about the mantelpiece above the fireplace, filled with photos of your children and your husband, the smiles on their faces.
You found comfort in your imagination, pretending you had a life worth living.
But the reality hit you hard.
You were going to die today, or tomorrow.
The Irish were going to realise the Sons weren't coming for you, and they would kill you, tossing your lifeless body in the trash.
A bartender, single, no kids, no family, lying lifeless in the trash, nothing to leave behind.
You'd heard how much the Irish had asked for and you'd scoffed, earning another slap to the face.
You weren't worth it, hell, they wouldn't come save you if the Irish had only wanted ten bucks.
You were nothing.
You began to drift into sleep, tears slowly falling down your swollen cheeks as you dreamed of a life you hadn't lived.
The sound of gunshots woke you.
You looked around the room, panic in your eyes, as the sound of gunshots echoed through the room.
You froze and closed your eyes, saying a silent prayer.
You heard the door creak open, and sweat formed on your brow, your body shook.
You squeezed your eyes, trying to close them more.
"(y/n)" a voice whispered. A voice that lit your soul on fire.
You froze but you didn't open your eyes.
You must be dead, you thought. Huh, it didn't feel much different.
You felt the ropes around your wrist loosen and your hands were finally free.
"(Y/n), look at me." His voice was low and you felt the warmth from his body as he knelt infront of you.
A tear escaped your closed eyes and you opened them slowly, looking into the sad face of the man you loved.
"I am so sorry, babygirl." He said reaching to stroke your face.
"Y-you came?"
"Of course I came, they had the girl I love."
You stared at him, confusion on your face.
"Oh, did they take someone else too?" You asked.
Happy laughed lightly.
"No baby. It's you." He said reaching for your hands and kissing your raw wrists gently.
"I'm nothing. A nameless pussy." You told him, tears streaming.
Happy sighed, his own eyes filling with tears.
"(Y/n), look at me. I said those things to push you away. I didn't want you to get involved in the club life. It's dangerous. I was trying to protect you."
Your body shook as sobs took over.
"I realised now how wrong I was. I can only protect you if I'm with you. I love you, (y/n). God I love you so much. I am so sorry babygirl, I'm so sorry. Please, forgive me. Let me protect you."
You felt his body shake as he began to cry too, you reached your hands out, wiping away his tears with your fingers.
"You love me?" You squeaked out.
"More than anything babe. I love you. I want you to get my crow"
"Oh Happy!" You leant towards him and kissed his lips.
He lifted your body gently, carrying you bridal style out of the room, and out of the house.
As he held you, walking into the sunlight, you couldn't help but feel happy, happy that the man you loved, loved you back.
