16| everything's not going to be alright

"Send her in." I mumbled. I honestly forgot Justin worked here.

I feel like firing him.

But I know I can't do that because I would be in trouble. Also because I know I'm just letting my feelings get in the way.

Should I just ignore my feelings for him?

Why am I so into his business? If he doesn't want to tell me, why am I so worried?

Because I love him.

I snapped out of my thoughts as my office door opened.

Katie walked in with 2 Starbucks coffee's in her hand.

She sat the coffee down and looked at me. "How are you doing?"

I looked at her. "Kat I dont even know why im doing this." I took the coffee and held it to my lips.

"You like him." I gave her a blank stare.

"And you don't think I know that?" I sat the coffee down.

"First my dad gives him his mom's job." I stood up and paced around the room. "Then next thing you know he's moving into my house."

I stood and looked at her. "Then I develop feelings for him." I sat down in my chair. "And now this Chelsea girl got in between everything."

I looked at Katie with tears in my eyes.

"I don't know what to do Kat."

I stopped at my door. "I can do this." I took a deep breath and stepped into my house.

Silence.

That's all I heard. I sighed and went outside to the balcony.

I closed the door and saw Justin's back. I stood next to him as the wind continued to blow.

"All day?" I asked as I looked out into the sky.

"Yeah. Daya look-" Justin started to say.

"It's fine Justin." I said sincerely. I looked at him. "Its fine"

"Its not fine." He started.

"Justin." I groaned.

"No Zendaya let me finish." He started again.

I sat down on the chair. He sat down across from me.

"Why does it matter anyway?" I asked.

He scoffed. "Seriously."

I looked at Justin. "It doesnt matter because either way our feelings are in the way. It doesnt matter because we can't let her get in the way. It doesnt matter because either way I'm gonna see your dumbass everyday." I confessed.

We both laughed.

"We are going to be okay Justin." I said as I looked into his eyes.

"Okay." He whispered.

"Okay." I whispered. Then we kissed.

We finally kissed a real kiss.
