Wind blew through my fingers as I reached up to touch the bright dawning sky, which was kissed pink by the early morning halo. Stars where still glimmering bright and the full moon was still in sight. A sight to behold was what it was, with the sun slowly but surely rising it was a fleeting beauty. That day, I can only remember the sky, and the helpless feeling of my life slowly slipping out of my body, I can't quite remember what had happened before this feeling. The watch on my hand ticked at a seemingly slower rate than normal, with the
Tick.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
Slowly lulling me to sleep. To a sleep we all know, as death. I know I'm past the point of saving or going back for the pull on my soul was to strong. From that point I gave in and that's how I died.
It has been me, just sitting here minutes on minutes, hours on hours, days on days, Months on months, years on years. Soon a few decades had passed of me sitting in this warm comfortable void, the sun still rose and set but compared to the rise I know, it wasn't breathtaking in the least.
This void of a color that was incomprehensible, it looked like black with far to many colors and too dark to be a rainbow. It was a vividly beautiful in its own parts with the sun and moon but I still remember, even after all these years, that sunrise I died along.
Here in the void, it was lonely, quiet, endless. My stay seemed never ending. Then came the vibrations. Buzz buzz all around. It was deafening, the vibrations shook the void's walls. A bright light overtook the dark darkness of the void, and suddenly I was surrounded by huge, blurry trees.
My limbs felt stiff and heavy, I couldn't move them so I cried out. Surrounded by cold air quite unlike that of the warm comfy void which could be compared to a warm bed on a winter day. I'd cry louder, seems like I can't stop...
A prickling sensation can to my top half, although it was still numb below the waist. I flailed desperate to sit up. Just than the vibrations grew to a peak as if someone was running through the trees, straight to me.
I'd cry and struggle faster for the though of some creature coming to eat me while I lay numb and blind was immanent.
A giant soon came into my blurry vision, or at least the shape of a large man. Gentle yet rough hands gingerly picked me up, as if I weighed nothing.
"Shhh... it's okay..." the gruff voice would comfort me as he patted my back with his strong callused hand.
I felt as if it was a friendly giant. It was like the warmth of the void.
As if they where gentle hands that came from that gentle void. Soon I fell to the lullaby of his words.
