No-one's POV
It had been a few days since the laser tag session and it was really hot. Even with the AC blasting in every room, most of the vocaloids were laying down feeling like they were melting. Gumi, Miku and Luka had given up and gone to the pool with some of the other vocaloids that were living in the other households. Some of the other started to fall asleep from it being so cold inside (I fall asleep when it's really cold, that's why I find it so hard to stay awake sometimes at school) but Kaito had a plan that never failed him.
He walked to the freezer to grab a tub of ice-cream out to find that there wasn't any in there.
"Nooooooo!" He cried and he fell to his knees.
"What are complaining about?" Len drowsily rose his heat from the island bench. Len had planned to make the inside of his body cold by drinking as much cold liquid as possible.
"There's no ice-cream!" He looked at Len like a little kid.
"Go get some then!" The heat always made Len cranky.
"But it's hot outside!" Len just gave him that look saying 'I know and seriously?'
Kaito's determination for ice-cream didn't keep him from getting it. He grabbed his wallet and braced for outside. Good thing he wasn't wearing his usual outfit. He was wearing a blue tank and some black three-quarter shorts, Len had picked the shorts out.
He walked through the heat all the way to the supermarket, he was so happy to be in there, it was really cold! He walked over to the dessert section and grabbed two tubs of four litre ice-cream and a packet of the freezable icypoles. After his paid and had the desserts put into a bag, he was standing at the door, waiting to brace the heat and possibly run home so the ice-cream didn't melt. He got himself ready and ran!
When he reached home he quickly put one of the tubs of ice-cream and put the icypoles into the freezer and put the other one on the bench. He asked if Len wanted a bowl and he nodded, Kaito made two bowls of ice-cream and not surprisingly the ice-cream was soft cause of the heat.
They ate the ice-cream and some other vocaloids came out and had some as well. For the rest of the day they just tried to survive the heat.
