Where I got my inspiration:
I've started writing this series just recently in January of 2018. I've always wanted to write a story about zombies. I've always wanted to write a story about teens. And I've always wanted to write a story revolving around a town, a central meeting point for all the characters. All of these ideas have finally come together to form Brightrock.
It's my goal to create the survival story we've all wanted to experience one time or another. Combining the vulnerability of young characters and a crazy zombie-infested world, I think I have a decent shot at achieving that.
How I've decided to write it:
Brightrock isn't going to be just one novel. I plan on making it into the "Brightrock" series, which will consist of many, many books. My goal is to create book with only 10 chapters, so it doesn't get too long. You can think of each book published as a single episode to a TV series.
Updates:
As of late, I'm trying to get into college. That means I won't have a bunch of time to work on the things that I love doing. Including this. I've already committed a part of my free time to co-writing with my sister, Lucy, in our epic series, "CRASH ON THE HORIZON." While this does sound like my writing will be inconsistent, my goal is to update once a week on Thursdays or Fridays. So don't give up hope! If you like my story and want to keep reading, please do so. I will try my hardest to make a priority of writing regularly.
