So it's been 2 months since I made a WWE contract with Vince McMahon and I was slowly getting used to schedule, which made things much easier. Mason was becoming my best friend in the locker room. Punk was still being horrible all the time, but only when we were backstage, still I took no notice.

I'd been sharing a hotel room with Mason and I was learning a lot about him, it turns out we have a lot in common. Books, films, foods. The shows were getting easier but I still found it hard pretending to be Punks girlfriend. In all honestly Mason was on my mind a lot, I can't explain why; he's just always there in the back of my mind.

"April! C'mon I've got a match against Heath Slater!"

Snapping out of my thoughts, I stood up and followed David and Michael out to the ring that was another thing I was getting used to. At first I hated the Nexus's theme music but I was kind of warming up to it now. As we reached the ring I did my normal routine of holding the ropes open for David then I gave him a quick good luck kiss, then Michael took my hand and helped me down letting go.

In the end we never had to help David 'cause he won his match fair and square. Once backstage I was getting a drink when I turned around and ran straight into the one person I thought I would never ever see again. Looking down at me I his eyebrows raised and he froze.

"April? Is that you?"

All I could do was nod and stare at him.

"I haven't seen you in years!"

I looked at him, 6'7, black hair slicked back, his eyes could change colour from brown to grey to green and his biggest feature is his nose, it's been broken a lot of times and it's crooked.

"Stuart..."

"April look I’m sorry about leaving, I got a job in FCW and I didn't want you to have to come and I didn't want to have to say goodbye."

"So that's why you just left? You just vanished into thin air? I loved you and you just left me!"

I heard someone walk up behind me but I didn't care, I felt a tear slide down my cheek and I knew I wouldn't be able to stop myself crying. Shoving past Stuart I ran down the corridor passing people I didn't know or care about. Stopping when I got to an area that no one was around I leaned against the wall and slid down so I was sat on the floor in front of the wall. All I could do was cry, seeing him now brought back all the memories and the feelings I had for him.

"Jesus Christ! April you're a fast runner!"

I looked up to see Mason stood there, tears streaming down my face he took one look at me and walked over sitting down next to me, as he put his arm around my shoulders I leaned into him and started crying again.

"It's okay April."

Sniffling I rubbed the tears away from my eyes and sniffed again, I looked a mess but I didn't care.

"Mind telling me why you just ran all the way through the arena crying?"

"I used to date him, then one day he just vanished, I went to his apartment but he wasn't there, his roommate said he just left."

Mason nodded; he rubbed my arm in a comforting way.

"Hang on a sec"

Getting his phone out he moved his arm and texted someone then put his phone away, Mason was in his normal clothes because he didn't have any segments after my match so he got changed.

"If anything April, he's the one that lost out."

Putting his arm around me again I leaned on him and sighed.
