“Langsford party.” Andrea greeted and the hostess nodded and led the way.

“Hello everyone!” I waved and everyone returned the gesture.

“Looks like everyone is here but your parents.” Andrea observed

“They are always fashionably late.” I accused

“I heard that.” My father joined in with my mother in tow.

“Congratulations honey!” Pauline, Andrea’s mother cooed as she stood to give me a hug.

“Thank you!”

“We are proud of the both of you.” Andrea’s father, Zach, praised as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek.

“Can we order now?” Someone teased and I pulled away from Zach and turned to see Jake, Andrea’s brother, standing there. I squealed and practically tackled him.

“I have missed you! I saw you at the graduation but I wasn’t able to speak to you since you made a bee line out of there.” I antagonized.

“Well I had to get all handsome for this dinner. I need more help looking this good than you two.” He moved away from me to give Andrea a hug.

“Well you need to sue whoever fixed you up because you look the same.” I teased and he gave his famous crooked smile.

“But those dimples totally make up for the looks.” I commented with a smile.

“Stop flirting with my brother and sit.” Andrea joked and I rolled my eyes.

“Not flirting. Just stating a fact. Besides, Josie has a thing for him. Don’t tell her I told you.” I warned taking a seat next to Andrea who sat next to her boyfriend Jessie. Jake raised a brow.

“Josie Benita?” He wondered sitting next to me and I nodded.

“Yup. I don’t get it either. She is hot.” I shrugged and he shoved me playfully.

“Hi Jesse!” I leaned forward reaching out and grabbing his arm.

“Now you speak to me.” He turned his nose up at me.

“Yup!” I grinned.

“Hi snowflake.” He teased.

“So racist.” I tisked.

“Sue me.”
