I skated out quickly towards the center. My palms were sweating even though the rink was cold. The music started, so did I, trying to let my mind drift to its usual place. I glanced at Victor and kept skating as well as I could. I kept focusing on how proud I could make him if I could just get this medal. By the time the skate was over my breathing was heavy and my head spun as it usually did. I looked towards Victor who had the biggest smile on his face. I skated towards him, He threw his arms out to hug me. I ran into them, he lifted me up off the ground. When he put me down he grabbed my hand and lead me toward the bench where points were awarded. We sat down I started chewing on my nails. He slapped my hand, "Don't chew your nails" He grabbed my hand instead and we stared at the board waiting for the score.

309.8. I nearly screamed.

"That puts Yuri in first winning him gold!" Victor looked at me, his mouth a gap, he then tackled me and kissed me.

"YOU DID IT, YOU GOT GOLD!" He yelled we were on the floor behind the bench now.

"We did it" He got off me and helped me up.

I made my way to the podium. Standing on the highest was the best feeling. Now knowing that Victor would keep his promise.

I'll only kiss a gold medalist, His words lingered in the back of my mind as I was awarded the medal. I smiled, looking at Victor was just off behind the camera's. They had the trainers talk for a minute. First (in bronze) Yurio's trainer spoke saying he did good but could have done better. Next was Kenjirou (silver) his trainer seemed extremely impressed with him. Last was Victor I had no idea what he would say about me.

He walked up took the microphone snuck a glance at me and smiled turning to the camera.

"I'm am so happy for him. Around a year ago we exchanged these rings (He held up his hand to show the sparkling gold ring) A promise if you will, I swore I would be his trainer till he retired. Yuri, (He turned to me) do you still have yours?" Everyone looked at me expectedly. I raised my hand,

"Of Cour-" I looked at my hand but the ring no longer remained where it had been for the last year. "I-I just had it" I looked around the rink to see if I could find the glittering promise. My shoulders slumped in disappointment.

"A shame, but if you also remember about a year ago I said will only marry you if you were a gold medalist" He got down on one knee and looked at me taking out a small red box. The air caught in my throat, my face went warm. He opened and low and behold there was the ring. He must have snatched it when he hugged me. My hands flew over my mouth trying to catch my breath. We made eye contact, He looked so happy in that moment. Nothing else mattered, the background faded away. He asked me the question but ears had gone into shut down. All I could do is nod, the jump into his arms. He kissed and I smiled against it, before accepting it.

The noise of clapping and cheering came back into earshot. My vision came back as well, seeing all the people made me anxious to be kissing a guy in front of all of them. I exhaled and tried to regain balance. He put the ring back where it belonged and smiled, kissed me on the cheek and I went back to the pedestal. After some picture's news reporter stuff, we got to leave the rink, I ran into Victor's arms, He spun me around in the air. When he set me down I leaned up and kissed him.

"Come'on you should get change, I heard we get to skate around with the others after everyone leaves" Victor explained we walked back together, I changed quickly. An announcement played over head:

"Skaters, If you would like to stay and skate, go on ahead"

I smiled over at Victor who smiled back. I quickly laced up my skates and headed with the others. A few of the others had already started skating Victor and I went out together holding hands.
