Finn POV
"Finn wake up! You have to go to school, you're gonna be late!"  My mom was ruthless,
She pulled my covers off and my first instinct was to cover myself with my pillow, but she took that too.
"Ugh Fine!"
I went to the bathroom, put on a black v-neck, black pants and black & white vans. I brushed my hair, but they still looked like a mess because of my curls, I brushed my teeth, put on deodorant and some cologne.
"Do you want some breakfast?"
"No thanks, I'm late"  I grabbed my car keys and went out the door. Millie and Sadie were already waiting by my car,
"You're late Wolfhard, again" Sadie said and pretended to sound mad.
We picked up the boys on our way to school, when we got there I took Millie to our homeroom teacher Mrs. Wheeler. She gave Millie her timetable and I noticed that we had almost all of our classes together.
When we were walking down the hall to maths, our first  subject, I felt mmher fingers slightly brushing mine. I slowly took her hands and our fingers interlaced. I couldn't help grinning a little.

I somehow made it through the whole day without dying, it was mostly because of Millie, she just kept me going.
"So, where are you taking me?" Millie asked me after school
"Its a surprise, but first we're gonna get ice cream"
"Well, that sounds like a plan" and she kissed me on the cheek.

We walked down to the park, holding hands, which made my stomach flutter, as if I had butterflies in it. When we got to the ice cream stand, Millie ordered first,
"Can I have one scoop of vanilla and one of mint and chocolate, please?"
"Yes of course, what about you young lad?"
"I'll have coconut and lemon, please"
"That'll be two dollars" said the man handing us the ice cream. Millie took out her wallet and was about to pay, but I stopped her,
"Here, let me pay"
"I can pay for myself, you know?"
"I know, I just want to" I smirked at her

We walked for a while and then she asked,
"So where are we going now?"
"About that... You're going to have to put this on" I said while handing her a soft, velvet-like scarf.
"Okay" she giggled
I tied the scarf around her head so that she wouldn't see anything,
"Is it too tight?" I asked worryingly
"No, it's fine" she smiled the most beautiful smile in the whole wide world. But then I noticed something, her nose just started randomly bleeding,
"Millie? Are you ok?" Millie took out a tissue and wiped the blood off her nose,
"Yeah I'm fine, this has been happening to me for quite some time now but mum said it's probably from all the stress, you know moving and stuff, oh and of course because of the different time zones" I shook my head but wasn't quite sure.

I decided I would take her on the top of the cliff, and when the sun would be. about to set I would ask her to be my girlfriend. I planned everything ahead. I prepared the whole picnic basket and blanket the day before and bribed my brother, Nick to bring it over there about now.

When we finally got to the cliff, after Millie asked 'Are we there yet?' about a million times, I untied the scarf and Millie gasped,
"Oh my god Finn! This view is beautiful!" It truly was breathtaking.
I put the blanket on the grass and took everything out of the basket. I saw her shivering, so I gave her my hoodie,
"Finn you seriously have to stop giving me your clothes" she laughed
"You look better in them anyways" she gave me a kiss on the cheek
"You missed" I said with a grow. On my face.
"Maybe next time Finnie-boy" it's true what they say, you really can get lost in somebody's eyes.

We sat and talked until the sun started to set,
"Wait a second a Finn, I have to take a picture, this sunset is incredible" Millie took her phone and got up, I decided that it was now or never...

"Millie Bobby Brown" I bent down on one knee, she turned around and I saw stress and anxiety on her face and that defines wasn't the expression I was looking for, but despite that I decided to keep going,
"Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

I waited.

I waited for the answer and then Millie's mouth finally opened,
"Ummm... Finn? I am truly sorry, but I just can't..."
