New midnight man

Chapter 1

It was a rainy Friday night in 2048, I was hanging out with my friends. Sydney is a hypnotist,Otto designs escape rooms, Kipling is a former penitentiary, Kelsey is an expert in alter life and ghosts also my butler and maid are with us cause they were also bored. To me its a shady group but its interesting having them in my life. We ended up playing the hosting game, the midnight man, dry bones ritual and one man hide and seek. In high we were all demonic games so after playing the games we were all creeped out but it was something funny to look back on, we all agreed that it was time for bed.
******Morning********
We all woke up and were sitting at the table except for the maid. As we were talking we heard a scream. We all walked to where she was cleaning and saw her on the ground with a note next to her. The note read:
Sleeping and walking is the only thing, that's if you wake up to a ring.
There was a bell next to her, Sydney rang it, the maid stood up then collapsed. Sydney then checked her pulse and she said she was gone. As I was holding the note everyone is discussing what it ment, we instantly thought of Sydney because she is a hypnotist. She decides to lock herself in a room and we left to take precaution and went downstairs to think about everything that happened.
An hour later we went back upstairs to see if she was still alive but she wasn't, we were grown in fear. Eventually we started to look for a note, Otto found the note behind the pillow and this time it didn't rhyme. It said:
Overdramatic, technical, tall,outcast.
It was Otto who was next to die. I knew it was him cause each first letter spelled out his name, everyone left the house quickly and rented a hotel for the night. Once we got there it was pretty late so we just crashed on the bed for the night. It was hard for me to go to sleep cause I was scared shitless(Bruh I need help). But eventually I did get some sleep until I heard footsteps so I jump out of bed, hearing so someone crying. When I went to see who it was it stopped and then I walked in a room seeing the butler on the ground. I asked him if he was ok and he looked at me and his eyes turned grey
and said"your next."
Then his head fell and he was gone. I left because I did not want my friends to be killed. I drove out of the state then all of a sudden a flashing light blinds me, a demonic voice starts speaking "let's have some fun," it laughed
then I started swerving and I tried to stop but the brakes were not working. A car collided with mine and I flew out the window during the crash. I woke up an hour later looking around and thought, where am I? How did I get here? A doctor walked in and said " You survived the accident you just have a few bruises and your right ankle is swollen so take it easy on the leg," then gave me note and walked out. The note read:
I was here now I'm gone, I left my mark to carry on ps midnight man.
I thought, what does this mean? The doctor came back and took his lab coat and mask and what I saw was unimaginable, he was tall, smelly, his skin was grey and he was creepy.
"You are the new Midnight Man." It said 
When I tried to attack him, he vanished but left a not where he was standing. This note said:
Pass it on or you will be gone or say so long and live a life of wrong.
I realized what I had to do now.
